So if I'm not mistaken Mephiles is 12 uni while GK is 15/16. But GK can't kill Mephiles because of his regen. What GK can do is seal Mephiles with the Heart Spears (which have layered sealing since Hyness, who knows how to undo sealing, was unable to undo the Heart Spears seal completely) or use the Empathic Manipulation and Morality Manipulation from Heart Spears to turn him into an ally. Mephiles' best option is prob BFR'ing GK in time which he has no counter to but iirc he doesn't use it mid-combat. He can also sink into GK shadow which would put him on par with GK AP wise but GK should still be able to pull off his wincons regardless.

I think I'ma vote GK for now since him sealing Mephiles is more likely then Mephiles temporal BFR'ing him,
