Own verse. Though that would include the knowledge of every other character in your own verse, and I'm sure that at least some of that amount of expereince and knowledge would be useful agaisnt an opponent.

"any limitation" - you're getting mixed up with omnipotence.
Because they are only omniscient about everything in their own verse, not all of fiction. There is no fictional cross over. It's not hard to understand.
