Any idea how much powerful could be Aard in terms of AP and Igni? For Igni, could be logical to calc it's level of temperature. Could be Igni be powerful as a flamethrower or more? Any thoughts?

Of course it is, he never actually did destroy stone pillars and do such damageM3X said:Aard is superior to Geralt's physical stats
There is a specific upgrade for Igni in the game when you can damaging armors. Melting steel in a really short period requires tremendous amount of temperature, a flamethrower, for example, can't do that. So, not melting, but still, damaging an armor probably require not less than the same temperature that can reach a flamethrower.SpookyShadow said:It can mainly bypass armors, but not melt them entirely. I think we can actually damage metal with fire IRL, just really hot fire.
I believe you are talking about that scene where Geralt burned Imlerith's head with Igni. Well, it somewhat burned his helmet but his helmet had several openings.
Yep, I think Igni should be at least powerful as a flamethrower, most likely quite more powerful.Vaner77 said:"A twist of a witcher's fingers can light a lamp... or incinerate a foe."

A food for thought.
