Keeping it simple:
Here we got the rules, Chess BO3 for short
Here we got the bracket

Since Ciel is basically a chessbot that can tell Rimuru the most correct moves, Tails is authorized to create a chessbot for himself too (since both got battle experience and strategization experience, they'll be somewhat in equal foot with this)
Speed equal, for easing sake

I mean he does already have a bot that can predict outcomes, the miles electirc, but i doubt hed be able to make something as potent as ciel

they could go back and forth via analyzing the best moves with each of their devices, but i feel like tails genius is more engineering than analyzation and tails has shown greater limits when he was unable to analyze infinite

in comparison, Ciel was able to analyse an infinite dimension, but that's not 100% a "stomp-level-outsmarting", since we're talking about strategization intelligence here

counting with a bot to help him, does Tails have feats of strategization? Also, being it a best of 3, how well would it go after learning potential counterstrategies to what Rimuru does?

Constantly fought and trained Emerl as he gained more Chaos Emeralds and awoken more of his ancient combat data, even being able to train with him after he acquired all 7 Chaos Emeralds). As for strategization he fights along side sonic constantly, but it mostly boils down to him specalizing in machenery.

To be fair, Raphael (inferior Ciel) already has statements of out-computing a quantum computer

And a quantum computer is literally the best possible thing you can have in a chess game, as chess bots are all about calculating possible sequences of moves and that's quantum computer's whole gimmick

hed probably try to get an analyzation/reading on rimiru first. if tis not working hes gonna have to play it safe. The main weakness of ciel from what i can understand is they cant perfectly analyze decisions rooted in emotion
 
and tbh sage was able to run millions of simulations on cyber space, but would tails scale to that

yes but ciel being smarter than a quantam computer does not make it so they will make the same decisions as a quantam computer

ok yeah i worded that badly, what i meant to say is ciel outsmarting a quantman supercomputer does not mean that the emotion weakness is gone now (im grasping at straws here im pretty sure tails loses)

She always picks the best possible outcome for Rimuru. In a tournament like this, it's obviously a win. And when there is a clear and shining path to victory that she predicted 2600 moves ahead, there isn't a place for any irrational and emotional decisions.
So yeah, I think we all agree on the winner

I mean, round 1 is definetely Rimuru's, but is there a chance for Tails and his bot in round 2 and 3?

Not really. Ciel already calculated the whole 3 games in the first 10 seconds lowball
While the same can't be said for sure for tails

Wouldn't a supercomputer and, let's say, a supercomputer+ have this game as solved (as per the example you brought), meaning he's got at least a chance?

Nope. Even going by lower estimates, there are more than 10^120 possible chess games. Anything that abides by more classical physics, without tampering into quantum possibilities, cannot compute this

Yeah, at this point it's 99,99999% impossible for Tails to get a W, will declare Rimuru as the winner
