Stealth.. given that she has extremely good stealth and syndrome is immature I bet she can sneak up on him pretty easily. They are in a jungle too so that’s a massive advantage for elektra. Mr. incredible is extremely good at stealth too and syndrome had a hard time finding him and thought he was dead.
Elektra is also way faster. Zero point energy caught dash who is 141.63 ms and elektra is at least 377.3 ms to 857.5 ms. She actually can be faster than that too since average rifle bullet speed is 1200ms. 2x speed gap is already extremely hard to hit it’s like trying to catch a mosquito. I don’t think syndrome can hit her.

I doubt he think he’s in danger. He took on extremely powerful supes including one who can cause earthquakes before and probably just think elektra is a normal human. He’s also arrogant.
