Palpatine dispatched an entire fleet of ships with his lightnings. The attack Rey countered is supposed to be the same level (or stronger), even if it's smaller (area of effect). Shouldn't this upgrade Rey massively?
Lorewise Demise should be the most powerful boss in the entire series, the Source of Evil. He's like Morgoth from the TLotR universe. There's no way Majora is stronger than him, the upgrade has to happen.
As much as I like to see my green hero being upgraded, I think you're over wanking things a little bit. Up until Large Star Level I was fine, then Solar System... mnnnnah okay. But Universal? Come on guys! Link doesn't need to be stronger than Goku or Superman to be cool.
In Marvel Comics (DC as well) characters have more massive feats, higher power levels. The movies tend to be a little bit more realistic, although with some inconsistencies.
In case of pilots, I dare say the plane somehow stabilizes the travel, and it's not like they can react to all sorts of things (dodging multiple obstacles, for example). It's very restrictive. And lightspeed spaceships in general travel throught "tunnels", "jumps", no reflexes required. Captain...
Hipothetically speaking, If we would assume Captain Marvel has MFTL+ reactions, we'd have to scale Thanos and the main trio as well, since Thanos reacted to her attacks and the trio kept up with Thanos.
That's the issue of making a character so overpowered (strenght or speed) in a verse that...
To travel at those speeds shouldn't the character be able to react accordingly? I know assuming this would scale Thanos, Captain, Iron Man and Thor to MFTL+ combat speed, which is absurd to the MCU, but still...
I'm not sure we should upgrade main characters profiles, but perhaps it would be interesting to add some note to the Pokémon main page, in "Power of the Verse". That pokémons can surpass their limits with training, being able to contend with transcendental monsters at some point.
By the way, before being introduced to the power scaling comunity I never would have thought a pokémon or a digimon could beat Goku. It gives us a whole knew perspective about verses and their characters feats.
Outlier is new to me, I wasn't aware of this concept. Thanks for your feedback!
I also wonder how these Gods can be trapped inside mere pokéballs, since they can blow entire universes. xD
I'm aware of the game mechanics concept. But I suppose the trainer manages to beat him somehow, in a canonical way (not with a Caterpie, of course). Wouldn't this imply ANY pokémon has the potential to become as strong as a God?
I've been looking into the discussions but couldn't find any specific thread about this:
Okay, the LORE determines God Tier pokémons like Arceus are Multiverse Level. Gamewise, a well trained Caterpie can tank it. However, how do we explain it storywise, 8A or 7A pokémons being able to defeat...
I'm not sure this is the proper place to state this but since it's the only GARO related topic...
Are Makai Knights really supposed to be Galaxy Level? I mean, in most episodes the user is able to keep up with horrors without the armor, before wearing it to deliver the final blow, so would that...
I suppose in most RPGs guns and bullets work the same as blades, channeling the user's potency. Call it Materia, Ki, Aura, Nen, Magic, Haki, Reiatsu... Besides, Cloud was heavily fatigued and injured, and was "caught off guard".
Why does Link have a lifting strenght similar to the Four Giants? Do you guys realize Giant Link, despite the name, is at the very least FOUR times smaller than them?
