Platonism describes conceptual abstracts that are, inherently, 1-A. Every single thing in our reality under Platonic Forms is a shadow of the Forms. And I mean everything. Even basic spatial structure, that all dimensionality is a part of, no matter how complex, is a reflection of the forms...
I'd say that's a pretty high standard. Notice when Alicetaria punches Altair that her eyes aren't even following her anymore. So if it is thought based, it's more thought-triggered and doesn't need to put focused on a single event.
I think the delay on the reflection the first time is just a classic trope. Altair's mouth isn't bleeding after being impaled, like Alicetaria did, and seems to be pretty unphased considering she's been downright untouchable up until this point.
Also, following her rejecting her lance...
If you're beyond spatial structure, as is denoted by being "beyond the concepts of space and time", you're never going to be reached by any stacking of dimensions. Stacking dimensions on a layered system will never reach a beyond dimensional structure, no matter how complex.
If we take a...
If the behavior directly pertains to the Wiki, we should be able to move against that individual. Even if it doesn't and the person just happens to be deplorable, as revealed on another site, I still think that we should reserve the right to freedom of association.
I may not be of much help here since I have a personally liberal interpretation of 1-A.
However, if we want to accept that character that is above a dimensional structure, like the example 27-D, is not a 1-A (I'd disagree, but that's neither here nor there) then it would follow accordingly that...
@Weekly
Light has no mass. The others you mentioned are physical, just low density. Well lightning itself isn't but it leaves behind a plasma trail.
Don't Armstrong's nanomachines react to the fire he summons, though?
That's for destroying all conventional matter. Black holes are conventionally indestructible and only die over time due to Hawking Radiation and rotational energy siphoning.
If the OP wants a raw destructive force, black holes are still you're go-to. They break down matter into energy and...
Chipping in my approval for yeeting the Timeless Voids page. Pretty sure I've been against such loose standards for Infinite speeds in the past, with the Timeless Voids page being a compromise. Let's end that compromise and do what should have been done from the beginning.
Actually absorbing the Sun probably wouldn't be star level. If you're just taking the matter into yourself you don't really need to overwhelm the GBE of it.
Man y'all are taking on a lot of big issues simultaneously. I think it would really be beneficial to put a lot of this on the backburner until time can be made for it. That's what has always happened with massive revisions, after all.
Pretty much only handgun calibers would barely move if we took bullet area into account. Some would get into 9-A and 8-C, with most, at bare minimum, becoming high into 9-B.
Any rifle round or shotgun slug is going to bust open heads. A .50 BMG (I'm assuming you mean BMG since that's what people think of when they hear ".50 cal") has an order of magnitude more energy than a 5.56x45 round. It will completely blow someone's head apart and tear off limbs.
Is the N.O. channel literally moving their masses with physical force or is it simply warping space or allowing them to move through "hyperspace"/another dimension?
We do, but our consideration for handing out full-yield is way too easy. Even if someone is standing on top of the bomb, they're not going to take 100% of the energy. Not even close.
If they close their mouths around it or curl ontop of it, yeah, they're tanking 100% or close enough to it.
Ideally, if we could restart the system, we'd probably have been better served by adding a "taken over the surface area equal to the average man" or something similar to our AP tables. That way surface area could have been accounted for. Too deep for that now, though.
No they don't. They cause as much damage per unit of volume as they soppose to. Their cross-sectional area is relativity small so they got deeper and obviously depth of a wound is more important than surface area.
An equal amount of energy put onto a significantly smaller surface area is going...
While I can understand the system needing an update considering the sketchy-ness of the Narutoforum's source, I will give a warning for this: whatever you plan to shift to, if necessary, must be absolutely iron-clad. This change would be absolutely gargantuan. There are so many calculations that...
But the point is that if he is erasing conceptual abstracts that are Platonic, false or otherwise, which are above time and space by default, such an erasure would effect the entire space-time of the reality they manifest, both past and present.
If you erase a concept entirely, it becomes inconceivable throughout time. Concepts on this level are naturally detached from all of reality, time and space, and thus destroying it would destroy it across all time.
I agree with all of this, though Cho'gath repurposing matter for his body isn't reactive evolution. Even we do that, just at a slower rate and different scale.
Right now I'm against conceptual resistance. The celestials can be killed, yes, but they would also be the ones granting the resistance to those who scale. The Void may simply have the ability to interact with and hurt abstract beings, and just has to harm the celestial over time like a normal...
I appreciate the continued open offer to return to my old position, but I haven't regained a fire for VS debating that would make me want to take it back given my still-limited time. And my free time is only going to be decreasing as time goes on as grad school pushes forward.
That said, I...
I was summoned a little while ago but just checked my stuff recently. That said this is a big thread and I'm working on finishing some work up for the semester, so is there any way to give a summary of what is left to be discussed? It looks like the most recent linked thread is closed.
@Kingofwolves
Because those two properties change in relation to each other naturally. If I put a block of ice on an ice sculpture, for example, I've increased the mass and volume of the sculpture, but I haven't increased density. Density is something that is more difficult to change than mass...
It definitely should. Mid-Godly implies coming back from conventional existence destruction. A conceptual destruction implies that the underlying framework of the universe has been altered so it can no longer support your existence.
