It makes me wonder if Tyranitar would resist the breath and if so, to what extent, in addition to the special defence increase that is offered by sandstorm. Since Tyranitar resists the fire type.
Isn't that author authority? At least in the context of "characters". It's less an ability and more a state of being that places someone in either high up in a hierachy, or lets them transcend it... Kinda like being higher dimensional.
But I want to think of hax being used in the context that a...
What are your thoughts on how common/countered a hax/ability is? More so about how countered an ability is rather than how popular it is... I was thinking it could be an interesting way to look at it.
At the bottom, we would have elementalism at lower tiers and existence erasure at higher...
Almost every trainer ever can throw a pokeball at a pokemon and sometimes land it, possibly up to stage 3 pokemon. Sure, it's common advice to weaken the pokemon first, but trying to throw an object at someone who can dodge beams of light surely takes fast reactions and a fast throwing arm. The...
In my opinion: "Active" and "Passive" are the extremes. We're used to thinking about active as "an ability that you consciously activate and lasts an instance, or is otherwise actively sustained. Ex; a punch, can't do that passively." and passive as "an ability that is always active and...
Sleep hax is not applicable here because Hatterrene has magic bounce.
Hatterene won't be able to use any (status) hax back because Gardevoir will trace the magic bounce.
4 moves is game mechanics. A pokemon actually has access to all of its moves and abilities.
Is the time stop in-character for Zasalamel? If so, it seems like a stomp. Also, does this count as a necro?
It's hard to say how strong a beam should be compared to a charge up phase that does damage. Without a measurement of the beam itself, there is no way to tell if the beam is just a concentration of all of that energy in one spot, or it's actually a separate but related stronger force or stronger...
Tyranitar is also skilled in hand to hand, experienced in general, his stamina shrugs off the radiation for a couple hours and his intelligence is probably on par with regular pokemon.
Earlier in the thread, it was kinda made clear that both Tyranitar and Godzilla need to do something a bit...
Here is how it goes:
Grabs opponent.*
Lifts them off their feet via superior lifting strength.*
Places them on their back and keeps them from getting up via being heavier than their lifting strength and via superior lifting strength, else they'll either lift the attack or struggle their...
Eh, even if your match doesn't start, you can still find something annoying about the tournament.
But fair point. I don't intend to single anyone out on either side though, so if you have any input, shoot.
Otherwise, I'll see what everyone else says.
In general, I think people weren't on the...
I'll just come forth with the announcement: The tournament is declared as dead via inactivity and people leaving. However, we could always try again on a later date, we didn't lose or gain anything from having the tournament die early.
As said, I'm consdering the possibility of starting up...
1. Physical strength. Law manipulation simply makes them physical and pushable, when they would be non-physical otherwise, since STOP is not the default and is instead a law designed to make something impossible to move, except by SHIFT and the STOP object's own movements. I think a trickier...
Unless the game "undertale"s it, it's always a game mechanic.
It has to be acknowledged by the characters themselves, exist to the characters, etc. Undertale being a great example of this with save, load and stats.
This excludes "game induced stupidity" where a character or entity may explain...
Baba is a really weird case of it. He's a very unique character as a whole...
A lot of his potential can't be reached without prep because why would Baba do anything complicated when simply forming "FOE IS EMPTY" is much faster and probably wins anyway? He would only ever use one-sentence hax...
Just as we don't have a separate key for smash brothers characters when allowing them access to all of their optional equipment, I think if this revision were to go through, it's better to remove the second key and just have one key that accounts for all of Baba's 'equipment'.
Then individual...
Ghost type intangibility works on special attacks from fighting and normal, not just physical attacks. The immunity is type-based.
But they aren't immune to fire and lightning, which is where your point is made.
Just as we don't always use speed to calculate AP and a number of other seemingly logical links, unless they're proven to be consistent in the setting itself; time perception isn't always used to calculate reaction time and vice versa.
I would guess that it's not uncommon for a character to...
There is a way for Baba to effect non-physical.
Objects with no physical properties can still be moved through SHIFT, teleported through TELE and law haxed through the text, directly or indirectly.
But this isn't the same as actually touching them, unless SHIFT counts as contact.
He can also...
Any object can push the text, including a rock with no properties provided that you can make it move which normally takes shift.
However, text can be turned non-physical through this line: TEXT IS NOT PUSH
There is no case for making Ultimate Humungousaur unknown. He at least scales to casually one-shotting Humungousaur and having an AOE that can apply that one-shot to multiple targets at once, or scales to ultimate Kevin, making him mountain level anyway.
By the looks of this, Ultimate...
I will admit that stamina is done less by categories and more as "How long can it run for, how long can it fight for, what conditions can it fight in and how vigorously has it been forced to fight?"
Not something that can be categorised or measured easily, but at least it can be compared...
Ah yes, I brought this up in chat.
Trainers can tell pokemon to dodge attacks made of light, so obviously, a trainer needs light speed or higher reactions.
... Wait, is that a relativistic+ bike?
If Humungusaur can fight for as long as that species, then the stamina should be listed as "Very high' for that reason. If it defeated the species through anti-attrition means, then their stamina might be lower despite the victory.
The pokedex does not describe it as specifically being...
Roar is a great tactical tool in a battle where a few disadvantages are present. Speed is amazing at CQC, much more dangerous to deal with than at range (barring the opponent's dodging ability), that lifting strength will play into CQC and of course, great CQC ability in general. Tyrantrum could...
Some profiles are outdated and pokemon is quite tricky to handle due to having a variety of sources all canon to each other despite some contradictions and outliers.
Pokedex entries are statements, feats usually override, but when statements reinforce an apparent feat, it can make a stronger...
