1. Jesus that page is huge.
2. Is he 5-D or 6-D?
Because every dude in the Low 1-C list is 6-D asides from #15, and #15 is a verse with infinite hax layers.
Went through some decay at first (such as the disliked 2015 storyline), but as of the 2023 storyline is just as powerful as ever.
In fact, when the mystic warlord Tiboro talked smack in a 2023 issue, Strange got angry and stomped him with ease, and stated that he would fight Umar jf she didn't...
Well if anyone would be pleased it'd be Dormammu, since (at least on paper) he's one of Marvel's haxxiest sorcerers right now.
1. Has his own stuff from my previous CRT (Low-Godly regen, a bunch of Immortalities, Type 1 Abstract Existence, Low 1-A Chaos Hax).
2. Likely has Hell-Lord hax, as he...
Btw, I know I already gave magic NEP (Nature 2, aspects 1, 2, and 3), but while this thread is open, would it be possible to also give it aspects 4 and 5 of NEP Nature 2 due to the following scans:
[Magic] is the in-between. The fraying edge between reality and unreality. A hidden string...
Doctor Doom and Odin both have the Low 1-A hax I described above for Basic Magic (though Odin's isn't layered), so they should be #2 in the 3-C list (since I have no doubts that Chen Jin has bonkers 1-A hax given that he's from LDG)
Soul hax in Marvel was tier 1 in potency even before the magic thread, and I am pretty sure that higher dimensional potency beats layers.
And yes, Doom resists soul hax, since he has 1 layer of magic resistance, and even basic magic can destroy souls.
Now that my Marvel magic CRT is accepted...
So with the new magic hax/resistances, Doctor Doom gets the following haxxes/resistances just from the basic powers of magic:
Type 1 Conceptual Manipulation
Type 2 Information Manipulation
Space-Time Manipulation
Causality Manipulation
Fate...
Curious, will this make everyone's hax 11D again?
And upgrading the cosmology to high 1-C again seems fine based on the scans and explanations, but I know nothing about the verse.
And that's not including the ones that get used 10 or more times on the page.
Pretty sure I used one of them like 50 times since it had so much stuff in it.
Honestly, while their profiles mention magic, neither provides any scans for it so I'm not sure if that should stay, since Skurge doesn't even seem like a magic user.
Thanks, since Minoru I know is a sorcereress (just look at her profile pic)
Btw if there are any magic using/resisting Marvel characters I missed in my 2nd sandbox, feel free to lemme know before the thread closes so I can add it to their profiles.
It helps that I read literally every Doctor Strange issue I could find in his mainstream "storyline", from his first appearance in "Strange Tales (1951) #110" in 1963 to his most recent appearance in "Doctor Strange (2023) #14"
And the number of references wasn't even the max possible, it was...
Hi!
Now that my mega-sandbox for magic got accepted, would you mind opening these pages:
Doctor Doom
Doctor Strange
Clea
Umar
Dormammu
There's obviously more of course but for now I want to start with these and make sure I get the process of applying my revisions right.
Coming from someone who has made their own massive kick-ass sandboxes on the site, that really means a lot, so thank you my friend.
Sheer amount of story and lore is an understatement lol, I read over 500 issues bare minimum lol
Here's the official page:
https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/Magic_(Marvel_Comics)
Now to take things slow, I'd first like to have just the following pages opened:
Doctor Doom
Doctor Strange
Clea
Umar
Dormammu
After I get those done properly, I'll move on to the other ones.
Btw, grace has passed and this thread has been unanimously accepted including by 5 voting staff members, so a huge thank you to everyone who made this possible!
I'll gradually edit pages one by one to make sure the additions are added properly (in addition to transferring all the contents of my...
Added his resistance to Hellfire
Strange had lost the majority of his magic when the Void absorbed him due to Zelma using the Sands of Nishanti to null it, so I'm not sure.
He would have basic magic and resistance to high-tier sorcerery, since even Sorcerer Supreme Loki (Ikol) wasn't sure if...
It's not a majorly important rule (probably why no one follows it), but IMO it does help establish the level of damage they can take.
I did it on Doom's profile for his type 2 immortality and put it at Low Mid (from when he survived his heart being turned to stone and blood being turned to acid).
Thank you very much.
Thank you very much!
Just wanted to avoid having to get it double-checked in the layer revision thread and what not, so I greatly appreciate this.
Same.
My only complaint with this series is that they're kinda doing Skurge dirty by nulling his sacrifice from when he held the line in one of the older comics to stop the forces of Hel.
Btw, just to be sure on this, what do you think of the following giving 1 layer of the powers/resistances of basic magic P&A (Concept hax, space-time manip, info manip, soul manip, etc.) to High-Tier and Sorcerer Supreme level magicians?:
All the powers of Lower-Level Sorcerers and Basic Magic...
Seems like a combination of healing, resurrection, and immortality type 4 all being high-godly (since the rules for Immortality types 2, 3, 4, and 8 state that the level of healing needs to be listed) to me.
Conditional on the spells being cast before then, as stated in the OP, but still.
