The Halo is clearly the important part of the equation. I don't see any evidence that Tricky absorbed The Auditor, but rather, that The Auditor absorbed Tricky and died from it, and unknown forces and reasons plus The Halo made MC11 happen. It is one of those "Krinkles could explain but...
Alright!
General
Hank already has Empowerment because of emotions. so if that isn't on other profiles, that should be there.
Bullet time, same as above, seems fine.
Plot armor is definitely not Plot Manipulation, it is described as higher stats and willpower, so willpower can be accepted but...
Finally, a CRT I can actually contribute to.
Empowerment scan doesn't work.
Bullet-time changes seem mostly fine given the scans.
Willpower and Plot Manip doesn't work, but I definitely disagree with plot manipulation.
Okay, a large number of these scans aren't working for me. Before I...
So, us citizens in Discord have been scheming and decided to move forward with our plan to overthrow the wiki. A vote as held, and it was decided that I, Moritzva, PixelKirby, and otherwise known as Ben Shapiro, would and will replace Antvasima as Bureaucrat. The process was diplomatic, real...
For one, very nice-looking threat, honestly. Such pretty formatting.
As for the content, I'm definitely not the person to call for something as complicated and enriched as Nasuverse, but nothing here seems notably wrong from an outsider's point of view.
Your talking style is absolutely incredible, Hop.
That being said... I'm actually not sure either. It feels like there's too much room for interpretation and a general grey area. Stonewalling or dragging things out is inefficient, but speeding through threads just means we're doing a poor job.
Yeah.
I need a very good reason to not close this thread right now, because not only are these arguments simply really bad, but they’re not even new and this is a continuation of a closed thread. If anything, the arguments got worse with time.
That quote you mentioned is additionally vague and does not “clearly” state anything. That could mean just about anything. Another level, etc, none of this is grounds for higher tiered anything even if it was in the verse itself, much less a statement by the author that doesn’t have any bearing...
If you find my stance odd, you can read the points I, myself, made. Bambu believes what I do, and I’ve provided my arguments for such, mostly revolving around insufficient evidence from the accusing side. Pointing out a flaw in Bambu’s argument is fine, and he can defend it, but that doesn’t...
By the way, I am genuinely tired of the current VSBW debating meta of “If a proposal is denied, just keep making it over and over again“, and I have no plans to continue debating this topic. My reasoning is the exact same as last time, and I’m more annoyed than anything that this topic both came...
This entire argument doesn’t explain why The End Poem should be accepted, it just concedes on several points and says “But that doesn’t mean it isn’t right!”
You’re also using a lot of whataboutism in bringing up Umineko and whatnot, I don’t know those verses and I can’t claim or debunk their...
Still relevant as a general topic. Someone should make a thread about it.
A mild intelligence downgrade does sound reasonable for Lelouch specifically, though, all jokes aside.
This thread has actually made me think about how we tier the intelligence of a scene meant to be skilled/smart and seem that way to those in the scene, but are written or portrayed in the most objectively braindead and stupid way possible, such as with those god-awful chess scenes.
I'm also pretty iffy on this. I can see why it could be seen as lifting strength, but a very strong argument can be made for game mechanics as well, especially when obsidian absolutely doesn't weigh that much IRL and we're using an IRL point of comparison for gold.
I've explained plentifully, and reiterating the same arguments and ignoring my counterpoints until I get busy with other things doesn't mean you've won. It means I know the definition of an argument that is getting nowhere.
I'm willing to just let the people decide, as no new evidence has been...
I just said "it's a game mode" is not an argument, and I explained why multiple times.
Second off, it absolutely is a cheat mode, additionally as explained before. I am not going to continue repeating myself if new arguments aren't even being brought to the table.
So far, an overwhelming...
Not Creative Mode.
No, seriously, this should be a matter of common sense. I really don't know how else to put it - even in a game with little sense of direct story, there is a clear difference between what is technically in the game (cheat modes for exploring mechanics freely) and what the...
Me: "Okay, but can you provide evidence besides Creative Mode being a game mode, as a cheat mode being a game mode doesn't mean it's not a cheat mode."
Over and over, across the entirety of today: "So, it's a game mode..."
Like, this time, we're literally getting a game manual that also...
None of that has literally anything to do with canon, and purely supports Creative Mode as a cheat mode. "It is a valid option to play the game" doesn't mean it has in-verse canonicity or support.
None of that mentions the Minecraft world and lore, and specifically speaks of “ways to play”. That speaks purely on a meta level rather than anything that supports it having a key.
A cheat mode is a way to play, that doesn’t mean it‘s a canonical, lore-supported form of existence. None of this...
For the record, I’ve looked into the Creative Mode book in the past - while I don’t have it on me to check, it is far more objective and has no record or concepts of the Minecraft world in terms of lore (e.g. recommendations as to how to beat or fight certain enemies).
Even if this doesn’t...
A common form of wank is to create profiles, keys, or similar off of theoretical or non-canon ideas that would be high tiered or very powerful if true. Creative Mode as a key can be seen that way.
Targeting me and my experiences with Minecraft rather than actually debunking my points is a pointless argument that I will not respect with an answer in the future.
Make an argument, don’t toss out conjecture and assumptions as to who the people arguing with you are, especially so if you are...
I snipped some of your argument for brevity.
First off, a lot of your argument relies on conjecture as to what Creative Mode is. You claim it’s purpose is to be creative - so? How does that relate to lore? What’s the basis for it? You’ve provided no argument for such.
Second off, simply saying...
