    Why, though? What supplements V-Jump here? Except, the Supreme Kai could all defeat Frieza in a single blow, and Yakon presented a legitimate threat to Shin. Also, Goku powered up as a Super Saiyan, and Yakon could steal absorb his energy. He only died after Goku entered Super Saiyan 2.
