I think you forgot to read into the article a bit more. In the Shear Strength section of the article, there is a clickable link to Table 1 of the article. Click on that and scroll down until you see the shear strength. Personally, I'd look at the values for unpeeled pumpkins since that value seems to cover the whole of the pumpkin unlike the skin and flesh listings which cover specific parts of the pumpkin.

In regards to getting a destruction value, generally the conversion is like this:

1 N/mm²=1 MPa=1 J/cm³

I prefer doing this myself:

1 J/cm³=1 MJ/m³

Looking at images of the pumpkin myself, pumpkins are hollow, but they also exceed the hollowness values listed on the infographic here: https://vsbattles.com/threads/hollowness-infographic.168894/

I'm wagering about 40-50% hollowness based on image results for pumpkin halves.

Thank you! I'm still struggling a bit with the whole calcing thing.

I still don't really know what to do to get the destruction value. I found the table and it shows 1.7 N/mm, so I got that... Just not sure what the next step is.

I have a blog where I've already done the pixel scaling, but I don't really know what to do next. If you could give me some guidance (but don't do it for me if you don't wanna lol) I would be grateful.
