That calc isn't accepted. And also, no, those aren't the same thing.

Those are comparing the movement of something to sound. By comparing one thing with a stated speed to sound, you can then compare everything else.

Your calc, however, presumes that a creature hears and reacts to sound at perfect synchronicity. You aren't comparing to an actual speed, rather you are presuming an innate speed of a thing already.

No, you aren't.

The Skulk reacts to sound. You presume that it reacts to sound at perfect efficiency. This is not inherently so. By that presumption alone the calculation is invalid.
