I'm not touching that verse with a ten thousand foot pole, my apologies.

You should use a timeframe of 0.13 seconds which is Athletic Human.

Unless you have proof that the man who got blitzed has reaction time in the Subsonic range in canon and without calculations.
Viott
Viott
dmua told me that we can use 0.029 for those who cannot react
TheRustyOne
TheRustyOne
That doesn't make any sense.

You most likely misunderstood what DMUA said.

The timeframe comes from the slower person who got blitzed and not the person who did the blitz.

Unless the slower character has Subsonic speed in universe without any calculations, you cannot use this timeframe.

no the proof is here

I have massive problems with that.

Can you link where this was said and not just a screenshot?

And there is a calculation similar to this. Since the character called Aaron could not react, I used 0.029 and it was accepted.
Viott
Viott
this is where he said

I'll speak to DMUA about this.
Viott
Viott
please send him this calculation as well and ask if he can use 0.029
Viott

Did he say anything?
TheRustyOne
TheRustyOne
Nope.

He hasn't even logged on today as of now.

I've spoken to DMUA about this, his explanation on why he's using a Subsonic timeframe wasn't acceptable for me.

He also said he wouldn't stand in my way if I changed this, which is what I'm going to do.

Using Subsonic reaction times for characters who aren't Subsonic in universe isn't allowed. You should be using Athletic level reactions instead.

If you can edit your calculations that use the Subsonic timeframe I'll reevaluate them.

Viott
There are many calculations that do not have subsonic characters but use subsonic time frames.

I'll make a Calculation Discussion thread to revert these in the future.

Don't know when this will be. This has grown to be a far bigger issue than I first thought and I have other things to do.
