Program didn't go as I wanted, didn't manage to PR my one rep maxes but otherwise we vibin'. I'm gonna try getting on a bodybuilding program to get big as shit to lift more weight later down the line.

Tried to do a 140 kg/308 lbs squat in your honor for max reps, but only got 5 reps cause my belt popped open rep one and kept forcing itself more and more open as I went. Could've done 7 or 8 me thinks otherwise. Still a PR though.

Other PRs have been 100 kg/220 lbs bench for 4, and 180 kg/400 lbs deadlift for 5.

I also inflate the shit out of my abdomen just before the lift to put under way more pressure than it'll actually experience. If it doesn't bust open then, it probably won't when I'm doing work.

Intestinal hernias can definitely happen with belts, but the only occasion I've heard of it happening was to a strongman competitor called Gabriel Pena.

He was using a hard belt+soft belt combo for the first time and he's a pro strongman (who can generate A LOT MORE contractile force on his abdomen than me or you) though so you should be fine.
