Oh. You listed it as "Goomba destroys a ball" so I thought it was a different feat I didn't know about it.
Goomba doesn't destroy the roulette ball. If he did, he wouldn't be running his casino very well. XD
Should be easy to find footage.
Problem is, it's MP6. Meaning the least powerful Playable Characters are probably like.... Boo, Koopa Kid, Toad & Toadette, I guess?

In theory, you MIGHT be able to argue scaling the Shy Guy drivers IF the broken boulders, like... explode & send their fragments in the directions of the drivers who sit idly waiting in their open-top cars behind their windshields.
But that'd mean it's Fragmentation/Violent Fragmentation for those scaled.

There's also the issue the boulders take multiple hits to break, & I'm not sure how many of which type of hits, minimum or maximum, the boulders need to be broken.

Boo would work, they're not typically presented as being that strong a minion physically. I counted the number of (max) punches to break each rock.
Small rocks - 4 punches
Medium rocks - 7 punches
Big rock - 14 punches
And it looks to be either fragmentation or violent fragmentation, leaning towards the former.

Is the same true for kicks? Are you able to record those tests? (The latter isn't a big deal, but could be very helpful.)
Also, I might check myself, but does it look like any rock fragments went near the Shy Guy drivers?

Also, if we want to calc the rocks, it'll probably be best to get footage with Mario next to the rocks; He has a known height, & the others, IIRC, would require measuring Mario to measure them to measure the rocks, so it's easier if Mario is present.

Any opinion on Duel Mode Chain Chomps being scaled to other enemies?
GyroNutz

Kicks works out the same, I don't have Mario Party 6 so I'm relying on online footage. The rocks all seem to be launched forwards rather than omnidirectionally.

Here's a clip with Mario.

I think generally Chain Chomps are treated as far stronger than most regular enemies. Wouldn't make sense have all fodder scale to them imo.

In Mario Party 3's Duel Mode, it may be notable that the Chain Chomps there are only about as big as the Player Characters, & deal 1 damage, so Koopas & such can survive it, but okay.
Here's the Tweester Calc: https://vsbattles.fandom.com/wiki/User_blog:Spinosaurus75DinosaurFan/Tweester_(Mario)

I can't find my calc of the SMRPG Bomb thing. Luckily, the feat is easy to find.

We may need to check the Japanese dialogue, however; It seems it's gotten when Mario beats Croco in the mine & it says he "found a BOMB". On one hand, it looks just like a regular Bob-Omb. But on the other hand, SMRPG does contain a few subtypes of Bob-Ombs.

Still, the hole it makes, if it's applicable to Bob-Ombs, might be at least a supporting feat for the yield of their often suicidal explosions.
GyroNutz
GyroNutz
I mean, usually chain chomps are smaller than the player characters, in the platformers at least. So that'd mean it's a bigger than usual chain chomp.

I'll add Tweester to the list.

The feat would be applicable to Bob-Ombs, but their explosions likely aren't applicable for scaling to any other minion.

Did you miss this from my blog? I alluded to it earlier:
Though, like with the Tweester (Even if Tweesters are a regular enemy & usually aren't that big, AFAIK.), surface area may make the yield scale to lower than the calculation's yield.

Incidentally, where will we be putting Koopa Kids (NOT Bowser Jr./Baby Bowser.)? Scaled to Main Characters? Or fodder?
They may have other feats, but one that stands out in my mind (Despite having several reasons not to use it.) is Koopa Kid being launched to the horizon.

By the way, any idea how soon this thread will be published? I'm super eager to see where it goes.

Oh, that reminds me! There's a feat in Super Star Saga where Bowser's whole ship blows up & seemingly everyone survives.
We should get that calc'd. Two ways are ideal; 1 by measuring the explosion(s) in the cutscene, & another by calcing the size of the ship based on the maps, & maybe also the materials destroyed
I might have calc'd the explosion size, but like with the mine BOMB in SMRPG, I can't find it AtM, so it may be simpler just to have the Bowser Ship feat Calc'd or Calc Requested.

Will this Revision be concerned purely with Statistics, or also Powers & Abilities?

(Also, I guess it's reasonable to assume the BOMB is just a mistranslation, & the Bob-Omb imagery is meant to show it's an actual Bob-Omb, rather than a placeholder, right?
& I agree about not scaling other fodder (Except stronger ones like maybe Chain Chomps, Hammer Bros, etc.) to Bob-Omb explosions, since Bob-Ombs that survive exploding seem to be the exception, not the norm.)
GyroNutz
GyroNutz
I did yeah, it's now added to the list.

I'm not sure if Koopa Kids should scale directly to Mario, but they should be above fodder as well.

Yeah safe to say that's a Bob-omb.

The thread will be up at some point this week, hopefully.

I'll look forward to it. In the meantime, do you know anyone good we should ask to do the calcs? Maybe save establishing which need calcs for the CRT?
Imaginym
Imaginym
Also, where is the list kept? I don't see the Tweester nor the Tidal Wave calc in the list on this profile post.
GyroNutz
GyroNutz
I have the list in a sandbox. Once I've compiled a few more feats, I'll put them on the calc request thread.
Imaginym
Imaginym
Ohhh. Can I have a link to the Sandbox, please? I tried to find it just now, but could not find the Sandbox that contains the full list of Mario scaling stuff.
GyroNutz
GyroNutz

Right now it's just this, ordered from weakest to strongest.
Imaginym
Imaginym
Hunh! Neat! Thanks! It's at times like this that I wish finding people's Sandboxes were easier, but I suppose some might argue that that's part of the point.
Imaginym

Any idea if we'll accept calc-ing, Special moves from SMRPG since those will be calc-ing Attack Animations?
GyroNutz
GyroNutz
That'd probably be case-by-case
Imaginym
Imaginym
What would be some variables that could invalidate the applicability of such calcs, independent of the math that would be involved in the calcs?
GyroNutz
GyroNutz
Well, basing it off of how we handle Pokemon attack animations, if it's overly exaggerated without being supported by some sort of text/lore like Seismic Toss, it's unlikely to be applicable.
