It's a joke upgrade from the gag reels in the first Xblaze where one of the characters is flat out stated to be the embodiment of Nyarlatholep, the Cthulhu mythos god. If I wanted to joke or wank I would've just slapped that in and called it a day.

LMAO I see, with Blazblue acknowledging gag reels as separate possibilities it would be a funny argument to see. Thanks for letting me know though, I wanted to make a CRT and I needed to know if it were of any significance.

Yeah it's sadly not gonna amount to much, the only closest thing I've seen for 1-A Blazblue is something some other guys mentioned about Hihirokane being "beyond all definitions of space and time", as that could possibly be a 1-A feat, but there's not much elaboration on it, so I can't exactly use that without enough evidence to back it up. I know some other people use it to upgrade the cast in other debate forums but I'm not really gonna bet on it happening, unless BBDW gives some evidence miraculously, or some other novels back it up, I doubt BB's gonna be 1-A.

Frankly I thought Blazblue started transcending dimensions and all that a long time ago. Especially with Ragnas end of CF feat, and what that really meant for the verse. I personally see it as 1-A, but here’s to hoping BBDW is on some wild energy.

I mean.... if you took the statement of the boundary connecting all dimensions as higher infinities, and use the boundary stated to transcend everything as a statement then maybe??? But like I said, I wanna make sure there’s more proof then a couple of statements that could be interpreted in other meanings. Though it would be funny if the older novels have the 1-A arguments.

Maybe if they got translated we would know, seriously nobody has finished translating phase shift yet.. I don’t think they’re ever going to get finished.
I know vsbattles has pretty strict standards for 1-A though, tbh I could see 1-B as a pretty decent marking for the verse. But before that we NEED to get those low and mid tiers out of 5-B. Like seriously

eh, I'm fine with planetary Blazblue, the main issue with upgrading the verse beyond that is Izanami and the Black Beast's planet level feats make anything higher an outlier unless DW and other materials prove more physical strength on the higher level than normal.

I understand that, but there’s more than enough evidence to make some of these characters above planetary, if not all of them. Even hazama is At planetary and that’s just not true at all

Uhh, what evidence exactly would put them physically higher? Cause again, Black Beast and Izanami's feat says otherwise.

I’d have to go into the verse again for physical stats, but scaling wise it would make sense for some of the other characters to scale higher than planetary. With or without hax. Like Taokaka being able to fight Hakumen in CT, or Litchi fighting Arakune who draws power from the boundary. Or any character who fights Azrael in Cf, who could punch a whole through the embryo.

Hakumen wasn't trying at all against his fight with Tao, so it's not exactly worth noting. Litchi and Arakune drawing powers from the boundary doesn't exactly give us much? You're gonna need a lot of information to back it up, also Azrael tearing through the embryo is just spatial hax through his punches at best, if it was an AP feat it's an outlier due to Izanami's feat, since she kept up with Azrael.
