wouldn't Billy have type 2 immortality? like living years without a heart until it regenerates.
And the Lich in the first episode he appeared where it was mentioned that he was weak due to lack of powers and the like, was attacked by Finn and Jake and had turned to dust only to return.
Would it be evidence for Regeneration or just metamorphosis? For the Lich didn't seem to have cared about them after escaping from your prison

Also, the Lich possessed the Lich's body, would that make the Lich have any of Billy's abilities?

Wouldn't say type 2 immortality, seems more like self sustainance.

The Lich returned via possession of others, not via growing back.

Billy didn't possess him to the extent of using his abilities, he just wore his skin.

Well, it's just that surviving without a heart usually falls under type 2 immortality, for basically "surviving something that would kill an ordinary person", If I'm not mistaken, Billy had hinted in the episode in which this occurs that due to him giving up on being a hero, a hole appeared in his heart although he came back later.
But if it's self-sustaining, what would it be?

It wasn't the one in possession, I'm saying the scene where he has just freed himself from that prison in the sweet realm, his first appearance in the cartoon.

Well wouldn't the Lich then have possessed Billy the same way he possessed Princess Bubblegum? Basically he entered her body as a spirit.

Might be immortality then, nvm.

Oh that one, he just transformed his element.

Nah it depends, cause how he possessed Billy was when he possessed the Snail first, then grew to his regular size and killed Billy, then wore him.

I understand, but the scene of how Billy's death occurred was strange, especially when it occurred in a dream of the end where the Cosmic Owl was, because in the dream it seems that the Lich recovered his physical body and killed Billy somehow, but he perhaps it may have possessed her body? because in addition to the dreams with the cosmic owl not being 100% literal (because in the dream where the "gunter" pushed Princess Bubblegum from the top of the sweet kingdom until she fell from there, this did not happen literally in the normal world, because it could symbolize her downfall as a princess which is what happened) so... either the Lich would have regained his physical form and killed Billy, or he in that spirit form of his would have possessed his body (not to mention when the Lich was with the Billy's body he imitated him perfectly even got his voice)
But by the way, wouldn't Billy's body be damaged if there had been a battle? because if I'm not mistaken, the Lich's passive death aura didn't kill him so much that Billy had resisted it before when he defeated him (I just don't understand why the profiles don't have resistance to death manipulation for the characters)

Nah the cosmic owl being there just means that it was pretty much a scenario that happened.

But Billy noticed the snail and it grew to the Lich, which killed him.

I'll add the death resistance later

the scenario didn't "happen" but it would "occur" due to the presence of the cosmic Owl, but it wouldn't necessarily be a literal scenario, so much so that in Gunter's episode the Owl was even worried saying "Oh no, you changed a dream! and changed one I dream of me", in that of the snail I honestly still have doubts due to being shown in a dream with the cosmic owl, so that was the reason that took Finn and Jake there to visit Billy.

But it's really great that the characters have resistance to the manipulation of death, but if I may ask one more question, the Lich in the first episode he appeared in he left a dark trail in the water that killed anyone who got close to him, that's right when he flew over the water, does this fit just like death manipulation? or would it be something more? to reach or I don't know
