Yeah, that's why we're asking. All explosions slow down.

What would be a proper way of calculating this? I wasn't expecting my calc to actually be correct, just an example of the basic measurements. Issue is, I have no idea how to find the explosion speed in this scenario. Note: Even using 343 m/s, which is a clear lowball puts Nine's arm speed at Mach 4.8. So at the least there should be something here.

It says nitroglycerin explosions have a stable velocity of 2000 m/s at the first 10 centimeters of the explosion.
