Who had accepted them, out of curiosity? I've already discussed the issues of the EMP with you, as well, I thought.

I don't know precisely who accepted them. On the wiki the lasers had already been marked as speed of light before I got here. As for the EMP, you had told me they were not instantaneous so you doubted the devs intended for the EMP to be speed of light. And yes the one in the cutscene it does take a few seconds (arguably so the viewer can see what is happening) but the EMP in game takes 1 frame to travel. I had pointed this out but I didn't get a response.

Lasers are lightspeed. We do not accept all lasers as light speed, and they must meet official standards before doing so. I stated those two things as two different statements- that I doubted the EMPs were acknowledged to work 1:1 as they do in the real world, given most video games do not portray them as such. I would argue (and the calc group member I consulted on the matter tenuously agreed) that you would need a specific case to make that so for NieR. Being portrayed as one-frame isn't a sufficient case, methinks.

In regards to the lasers, it was not a general statement. I wasn't talking about lasers as a whole. Their laser attack specifically was marked as light speed. On pages of the associated characters, their attack speed is marked as speed of light when using lasers.

Fair enough regarding EMP's. I've removed the suggestions.
