I've lost interest, but I wouldn't mind taking a peek at the planning stage.

Ah ok.

Impactor survives this explosion (High 7-A) Good chunk of characters scale to or above Impactor. Some should be able to upscale to High 7-A+

Megatron claims he can destroy this city (7-A) Omega Supreme level characters should scale, as Omega could potentially kill Megatron with a fraction of his energy

Galvatron survives a gun that can bust comets (7-A) Many characters scale to Galvatron

Metroplex GPE (7-B) Sixshot level characters could potentially downscale from this, as Sixshot survived two hits from Metroplex and could even move afterwards

Optimus casually makes an explosion (Low 7-B) Optimus somewhat scales above his own Ion Blaster, but not really by a significant amount

Megatron tanks a Kinetic Harpoon (At least 7-C, potentially High 7-C to 7-B) This one is fairly tricky, according to wikipedia: "Modern tactical nuclear warheads have yields up to the tens of kilotons, or potentially hundreds, several times that of the weapons used in the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.". Spike calls the kinetic Harpoon the most sophisticated weapon the military has, the weapon is also worked by a weapons engineer, that being Jetfire, as well as Optimus calls it "the world's biggest gun". Optimus also seems to believe that it could kill Megatron, even after Megatron proclaimed he could one shot a city. So that at least tells us it's in the City level ranges. The weapon could potentially scale above the 25 Megaton Hydrogen bomb, which is the strongest bomb the US has. But what about calcing the feats itself? Firstly, the awkward and limited angle makes it hard to measure, secondly, using the info given to us in the panel, the results are 7 tons or High 8-C. So I guess whatever the case, everything would be a lowball of the kinetic harpoon's power

The Impactor explosion seems to be in space (where you can't calculate explosions). Maybe you could go by the hull damage since you know the ship's size.

I think that makes sense. City level or Mountain level alone is probably civilization threatening.

That one's definitely fine, since we discussed it as far back as the CRT.

Sixshot was crushed by one foot.

Optimus' blast is in space, unfortunately. What's the chapter?

Tactical nukes are very different from large-scale ICBMs, typically in the sub-kiloton to hundreds of kilotons range.

The volume of the destruction. I guess I could do this one with enough reference panels.

Which is my point. Metroplex is enormous, so Sixshot doesn't scale to anything but a tiny fraction of his GPE.

That doesn't seem too hard to calculate.

Our formulas don't apply to a vacuum. In space, there's microgravity and no atmosphere, so the size of fireballs are massively increased and the shockwaves of explosions can't travel.

25 megatons is vastly above even the highest tactical nuke, essentially.

How would we calculate the metroplex feat?

For the explosions in space, is there another method or are the calculations just unusable?

Divide Sixshot's surface area by Metroplex's. Then divide the feat by the difference in their surface area. Metroplex is 2 miles in height, but I can't remember how tall Sixshot is.

I don't believe there is a method. Although you could use inverse square law under certain circumstances, since it'd actually be more accurate in space with no medium to stop or slow down the energy.

I did the recalculation of Optimus' feat, and it's about 111.7710474 kilotons (slightly less, in truth).

Still a massive upgrade.

Isn't that a massive downgrade, that's High 7-C and the OG is Low 7-B+. Could you post the calc?
ByAsura
ByAsura
I mean from the usual High 8-C.

I'll post it with the ship calculation late today or tomorrow. I'm a bit busy.

Usual High 8-C?

Aight, take your time.

I mean the High 8-C ratings in these comic lines.
