A Soul normally is, well, just a non-physical aspect beyond the physical body. Destroying this aspect kills the physical body directly. In tensura tho, the differences are:
The soul is the essence of all things, living or non-living, plants or animals, humans or monster.
The soul defines what a person is, their true nature. If they are a good or bad person, what type of skills they have, etc.
The Soul also holds one's factor, which defines a being's species.
The soul shares a lineage tracing back to the collective conceptual entities called Great Spirits.
Each living thing embodies a concept, humans, monsters, elves, dwarves, etc., that is more prominent in their non-physical evolutionary stages. The soul is the "essence" of this and identical to said concept on a local scale (say, it's the concept of a Fire Spirit, the latter being a single phenomena of "Fire" in its original, purest form)
If you take away one's Factor, even without doing anything to the person, their form disappears from the world (tho this can be circumvented with HGR or the lack of need for a soul in some).
Alright, thank you!, and it seems that you understand about concept, what makes something conceptual/concept? As I'm trying to do something about concept, I don't understand like what can be categorized as a concept
