Space-time as a construct is both the physical and temporal aspects of the universe. So if you completely erased a timeline you would indeed erase the space-time of that universe, since they're the same thing.

Merging two timelines or merging with a timeline however is not conceptual manipulation. That can be done with spatial manipulation, time manipulation, or just advanced fusionism.
