Well, normal user's can ping other on msg wall, so they may probably see this here. I don't think I need to tag them in that thread anymore.

What i meant is, if you tag someone on anyone's Msg wall on forum, it will give the user ping notification.

Weird, i remember I got notification once back a year ago.

Yeah it was a thing. Maybe it works on their own message wall? Like me pinging users on my own message wall will work but not if i ping those users on other's message wall? But it definitely used to work for me.
