So, I think the Cthulhu Mythos tiering is very wrong at the moment. Not necessarily due to bad information, but by misapplying some of it. Right now, the "Ultimate Mystery" is Tier 0. However, the reasons for it being Tier 0 on the explanation page should actually apply to the Extension beyond the First Gate. In the following passage we learn that Randall Carter would have been subject to the infinite existence of archetypes through the loss of 'self' in the face of the cosmos had 'Umr At-Tawil not been keeping him in his "normal" state with its magic/power:

"As the waves paused again, Carter began to comprehend, vaguely and terrifiedly, the ultimate background of that riddle of lost individuality which had at first so horrified him. His intuition pieced together the fragments of revelation, and brought him closer and closer to a grasp of the secret. He understood that much of the frightful revelation would have come upon him—splitting up his ego amongst myriads of earthly counterparts—inside the First Gate, had not the magic of ’Umr at-Tawil kept it from him in order that he might use the Silver Key with precision for the Ultimate Gate’s opening." -Through the Gates of the Silver Key, Part V

So, unless I'm wrong, that should put the Extension beyond the First Gate at Tier 0, with the Ultimate Void, Ultimate Gods, and Supreme Archetype/Yog-Sothoth many levels above baseline Tier 0 due to how far they transcend the First Gate. Also, not as a change of tier or anything, but when the story mentions that Yog-Sothoth, The Beyond One, and the Untranslateable Sign are merely fragments of the true being, they're not saying that the being known as Yog-Sothoth is a fragment of a greater being, they're saying that the descriptions and titles of the being cannot hope to describe it accurately as it is beyond the concepts language is able to describe. Plus, the archetypal existence would clearly be the First Gate-level of reality and not the ultimate level of totality, that being the existence of the Ultimate Gods.

Unless there's an explanation for this that isn't on the explanation page, I am planning on making a CRT, as I believe there is good evidence to support my position. But I wanted to give you the courtesy of responding to my ideas before I try to get anything changed. Thanks for taking the time to read this. I'm looking forward to your response.
