I don't think that calc works at all, we don't see the explosion, you can't really assume it covered all of its length, and you can't really know how far away this guy was from the explosion

That would be the diameter of the tank he's on, there's nothing in context (as far as I know) to suggest it's any bigger or smaller than that

Honestly, I just not sure what else can be done for the calc. And trying to angscale from Vos' silhouette just makes calculating it more complicated than it needs to be. Especially since second scan does not show the tank in full.

You know, showing context is important, I don't think this is the first time you did this either. There is no implication from those scans that imply what you're claiming, if you have information that says it, you should have it somewhere.
Regardless, you should use the width as the diameter, not the length, this one is not negotiable, but you likely don't need to use ISL here either

I fixed it, although assuming the explosion is from the center, how could Vos be engulfed by the explosion if the epicenter were less than 18 m away from him.
