Hi, how nice to find someone who knows Lacrimosa of Dana, it was a spectacular game, I played it in 2021 and I still love it, the only thing I didn't like so much was that in true ending our MC didn't stay with Dana, they were right for each other. But other than that I haven't played any other Ys.

I agree, i like them toghter alot. But that's kinda a trope in the series at this point that he just leaves the romantic intrest for the next adventure. The games don't connect really besides to very small one off references(there is a very funny scence at the start of ys 9 that references this), only charcter that is reaccuring is dogi. I like ys 9 and the setting is cool, 8 is better.

Yeah, that's a shame, though I only played it because of Dana, I loved her design and I love games that includes romance in their narrative, in fact, I enjoy the romance alot. Though I'm harem enjoyer the most as well..

I have generally been pretty picky about harems, but one I really liked was Shuffle! what are some of your favorites? I like romance as a anime genrea lot, i am struggling to think of games where romance is a core part of the narrative I like though oddly enough.

The reason I like harem is because I girls shall deserve a happy end, I don't like things like for example 1 winning and the others sad and the likes, or for example different endings for each one.

There's some games I have that somewhat romance as a core. I'll post them here once I'm in home with my PC.

I can see that, I liked Shuffle! cause it felt like all the girls didnt hate each other and where friends and not constnatly trying to screw each other over. I think its generally harder to write a good harem ending not that it cant be done, just more diffcult.
