By the way, Jason answered your concerns regarding the calc

Might answer his comment when you have the proper time to do so?

I want to tell you outright that I'm going to reject that. I'll write up the actual response later since I'd like to do the math myself, but we can easily determine the actual on screen speed of the thing based on its movement compared to Jupiter. We don't need to assume arbitrary time-frames.

Take your time!

As long as it's possible to find an accurate speed value, i'm fine

Mhmm. If I can remember, when I'm home from work I'll do it.

Given the recent discussion regarding the correct timing to be used and me personally don't 100% agreeing with your logic, do you think it would be fine to create a Calc Group Discussion regarding which timing would be more accurate? Or should this be handled on a normal CRT?
Mr. Bambu
Mr. Bambu
If you want, you can create one. I think it would fall more into CGM territory.

That said, I'm curious what you mean by my logic. My logic is to look at the screen and note the speed.

I expressed myself badly

What i meant is: Your logic is fine calc-wise, my problem is that such timeframe doesn't seems to be pratical given that the sword would take half a hour to go from Jupiter to Earth, despite the in-show context needing it to cross the distance in way faster speeds

I see. I would just clock that up to it being a cartoon and not taking that sort of thing seriously, really- if I were a writer, I'd just say the planets are actually closer together. We can see one thing (the speed), we don't know the other.

Still. You're free to your thread, of course. I can ping some CGMs on it if you'd like.

I will try to make the thread to get more opinions on the timeframe then (Probably on the next week given my current lack of time)

Btw, since the calc also included a High 4-C feat for the Sword destroying Jupiter, might you given your thoughts on which end should be used?
Mr. Bambu

I'll speak on that later but I have grounds to nitpick that too.

Still waiting your response to the High 4-C calc btw
