So like, we know the TSB can rapidly expand. Juubito did it twice. The difference is, the regular TSB’s have a set size (Fist). So when it expands, we can assume that expansion is the maximum it can expand based on it’s set size (Fist).

The ETSB doesn’t have a set size. It’s continuously expanding. There are only 2 set sizes we know (It’s Size at Creation / It’s final size covering the Dimension). So being that it is stated to be the same in Manga & Databook aside from the size and power within as the small ones, we know the ETSB can be rapidly expanded.

This is where the logic question comes in at… being as the ETSB is continuously expanding, and thus has no set size, if It is rapidly expanded, logically we have no choice but assert it will continuously rapidly expand to it’s maximum size, as there is no set size for it to retract too?

Does that make sense? Because ultimately, if that Logic holds up, wouldn’t we be able to use the Rate of Expansion for Obito’s TSB rapidly expanding to ink out a Low Ball Timeframe for the ETSB being rapidly expanded?

Not at all, there’s no reason to assume the rate of expansions are the same. The jutsu are fundamentally similar but have distinct properties wrought forth from one being much larger and more powerful. Its bigger size and mass could slow it down, whilst its higher energy content could speed it up. End of the day we don’t have a concrete metric to compare the expansion rate of both.
