I'm not going to vote btw. But I also wanted to say if this goes into grace it'd be better to wait for Kingofwolves to leave a response since he seemed to have arguments he wanted to share.

Why wouldnt black whip get through metals? And black whip is multiple deku can generate it constantly

I'll vote Deku. Magneto being a glass cannon kinda screws him over here. He can manipulate as much metal as he wants, but with the range of Deku's shockwaves and his superior AP, it's only a matter of time before he gets tagged even once. Magneto may have better LS, but because it's based on magnetism rather than something like telekinesis he's limited in the ways that he can abuse it. Sure, Deku's suit has metal on it but he has good enough durability and endurance to power through and break Magneto's barrier.

Should be able to get a permanent vote in today, though, and from my pre-existing knowledge it would likely be Deku either way, but we will see.

Even if Deku manages to break his gear, Magneto can still control the broken pieces, and Deku doesn't need just one hit to win as he first has to get past Magneto's shield which is always active
 
Coming back cause I forgot about this thread.

To people saying “Magneto can control the metal pieces even if Deku breaks them,” the entire point is that he cannot use them to restrain him anymore. After the pieces are off and Magneto only can work with what is now off of Deku + the Iron Soles, Deku can easily spam defend himself via smokescreen and Blackwhip. Blackwhip by itself is enough to completely block off even the pieces of the mid gauntlet that try to come back at him by just blocking them, or he can use air pressure attacks to completely destroy them since his max power is able to literally disintegrate his own gear just by powering up, let alone actually attacking it.

Deku’s gear scales to his 1.12 Petaton value. Deku just charging up eviscerates his gear because he scales way higher than 1.12 Petatons to the point of completely bodying Shigaraki who is strong enough to tank 1.12 Petatonss. The pieces of the mid gauntlets and his suit coming back at him is not enough.

The only thing restraining his mobility is the Iron Soles, which he just needs to take off his shoes. After that Magneto is fighting him completely blind since he won’t have any metal on him.

Deku can figure out Magneto’s abilities in less than 5 seconds the moment all the metal on his body restrains him. He is a literal genius and figuring out powers is what he is built to do. He speculated 3 different abilities for Mirio after watching him in combat for less than 5 seconds in a dumber key, and has ALREADY FOUGHT someone that can manipulate metal via Wolfram. Magneto’s skill set is literally the easiest thing for him to figure out.

After he knows what Magneto can do, he removes the metal and just goes at him and bodies him. Even if he has a barrier around him, Deku is strong enough to literally one shot the barrier since its scaling below Complete Shigaraki, when he was dog walking Evolved Shigaraki. Superior fighting ability in every way + massive AoE to not care about Magneto’s range gap. Even with Planetary range, Magneto’s attacks have to approach Deku to hit him, so he can just use a Oklahoma Smash tornado and destroy it all before rushing for him.

Also idk why Gearshift or Fa Jin are restricted. Fa Jin does not strictly amp Deku to High 6-A, it is a variable amp that can be UP TO High 6-A with the max stored variation.

And Gearshift doesn’t even amp AP in a noticeable way, so again, idk why that’s banned unless it’s tournament rules in which case ok.

All in all, Deku def has my vote. Everything Magneto has gets countered by the fact Deku can fight just as fine without any metal on his body, on top of stat gapping him with way better intelligence, combat skill and variety.

Class Z LS based around needing to manipulate the equipment on Deku that he can disintegrate near instantly by just powering up with no LS required to combat it is not the wincon I think people believe it to be.

İf deku break from his gears he can constantly destroy other metal pieces
if he get past magnetic field one shot would be enough

they are saying he can use black whip which scales to his ap and such to ignore the metal and such all deku needs is 1 hit through the shield to beat mag

If he removes his gear, Magneto can just put it back on him. His barrier is similar to Apocalypse's, which was only broken by Phoenix Force Jean easily — far stronger than Magneto plantery+. Deku couldn't break it in one hit. Gearshift is banned because there's no KEY or statement on the profile for what his AP is with it, so I removed it since it wasn't clear and its clearly an AP amp considering on the profile says fajin + gearshift makes his ap far higher.
