Even before the deluxe re-release, the reprinted novels had the canonical timeline listed at the beginning of the book; this isn't new. We don't know why they don't put the "Legends" label on the film novels, but it's probably because it's still an adaptation of a canonical film, despite contradicting it.Even though they replaced the Legends Timeline with the Canon timeline in the Deluxe Edition? Do they usually do that for re-released Legends Books?
But we know that in general they aren't aligned with canon, not only because of the pre-April 2014 issue, but also because of the 2017 re-edition of the junior novels of the original trilogy, which existed to make those old 2004 junior novels canonical.

Furthermore, even if we tried to see what we could use based on "what aligns with the film," it would be totally arbitrary because even things that might align with the film might not align with canon.
