Metro 2033: Lifting Strength Upgrades

There is still work to be done on Metro involving humans and mutants, but I'll be addressing lifting strength specifically

Here, Artyom can snap this guy's neck, but this isn't the only neck-snapping feat in the game. You can also do it during gameplay if you choose the kill prompt instead of knocking enemies out, as there's a chance neck-snapping animations will play instead of stabbing animations, as shown here. Neck snapping caps around 1000-1250 Ibf, which falls into Peak Human-Class 1 but in my opinion, he should be considered Class 1

Artyom already has an Athletic, possibly Peak Human rating due to being able to sprint while carrying heavy weapons and armour, while also reloading those weapons mid-run. He also has one physical feat: Holding a Nosalis' jaw open. Those are solid starter feats but I'll expand the justification for Class 1 even further, perhaps even higher rating

Here, Artyom can rip a claw off a shrimp, which looks to be very high and should likely give him a higher rating than Class 1

Miller and Danila briefly held a door shut against a Demon before Artyom went down to the other door and opened it. A Demon was able to overturn an armoured truck. Artyom should be comparable to Miller and Danila and perhaps even comparable to Hunter, who could grapple with and overpower a Nosalis

As for the armoured truck (I took this directly from this wiki): By the looks of the armoured truck, it's possible that before the war, this was a Russian GAZ 3302 (better known as the "Gazelle") pickup truck, which was then heavily modified by the Rangers.

The GAZ 3302 has a curb weight of 1820 kg, which would place Demons at Class 5 (just note that the weight may be higher due to the extensive modifications that Spartans made)

Librarians also scale to this

So in conclusion:

Artyom: Class 1, possibly higher (Can rip a claw off a Shrimp. Can snap necks. Carries multiple heavy weapons and full loads of ammunition with heavy armor and still moves around as if he normally does. Can casually reload most of his heavy weapons while sprinting. Can hold the jaw of a Nosalis open. Comparable to Hunter, who could grapple with and overpower a Nosailis. Comparable to Miller who along with Danila, held a door against a Demon for a brief time.)

Demon: Class 5, likely higher (Overturned an armoured truck based off the GAZ 3302 pickup truck which has a curb weight of 1820 kg however is higher due to the extensive modifications and added armour that would further increase its weight. Can still fly at top speed while carrying a person fully loaded out with equipment. Stronger than Artyom)

Librarian: Class 5, likely higher (A Librarian was able to fight and physically restrain a Demon by holding its jaw open. Choked and held Artyom and the Stalker in mid-air for several seconds before thrusting them back, after breaking through a wall)

I wonder what you guys think about the Shrimp feat Artyom performed though

Looks solid. The flying Demon's toppling the truck instead of outright lifting it might affect some values a teensy bit, but it was done so effortlessly (even in slow-motion) that it's likely still in that ballpark. And jaw strength can be crazy in itself. IMO these lowballing classes are fine to go with in lieu of any calcs for now.

Flipping a car doesn't require lifting the weight iirc. You just need to supply enough force to tilt it over 45 degrees, which is 40-50% of the total weight.
