Overall, I'm simply voting for the duet thanks to the hax, which Sukuna doesn't resist.

Anyways, what is Mordecai and Rigby's starting move in a fight in-character. I remember them using Death Kwon Do the most.

Then imo they have too many options, too many variables to decide, and thus Sukuna wins more often then not because he just opens up with cutting them both in half with a Dismantle off rip.

Wouldn't it be better to limit them to some of their better equipment? Then there's less options and they're more likely to use their best stuff.
 
Mordecai and Rigby don't really have a well defined move in character with optional equipment but they seem to be very likely to use the power together since it was their go to against anti-pops which creates a passive aura based shield around the duo with Universe level+ durability

like yah they've got a lot of wacky bs but a lot of it isn't something they'd use in an actual combat scenario besides The Power, Death Kwon Do, the Fists of Justice, and a few others (The Book of Park Records) but beyond that their arsenal was mainly used for less important things like getting preparation for a kiss

Okay, that's not too bad to deal with. Sukuna realizes he can't cut it so he uses World Cutting Slash and splits them and the shield in half. Assuming that is their opening move.

If they have everything and they are fighting someone they know is above him, The Power is what they use, which is an instantwin and makes this fight pretty one sided

They also starts at 4KM so Mordby have a range advantage and if they decide to be cowards, they have travel speed faster than Sukuna's

They can do whatever they want with it, they can BFR Sukuna to the moon or social manipulate him with reality warping, time travel to a point where Sukuna was weaker if anything (too smart for them but maybe Rigby is feeling petty) and make "everything the user says" happen

Well that's a lot of things but like what do they use first in character in a fight specifically. Do they just bfr whoever they are fighting immediately?

Rigby was dumb enough to create a monster and BFR it to the moon

In a fight they use the barriers to survive attacks and offensively, BFR, doing that to anti-pops is useless (because how the **** are you BFRing a guy that can travel the universe) so they did not use it, and Anti-pops is also beyond The Power, he was able to destroy it
 
I mean how long does it take for their hax to kick in? Sukuna’s nearly like 30x stronger, and I’m pretty sure it only takes a simple gesture from his end to utterly tear the two apart with Dismantle Danmaku
 
Mordecai and Rigby have the Death Block, which nullifies all Moves. Their Death-Kwon Do can deconstruct Sukuna and then they have The Power (not He-Man) to do whatever they want.

They also unfathomably blitz Sukuna with Basketball powers
 
i feel like a majority of mordo and rigg's kit requires time to set up/use no? they can use the power pretty much instantly if they're in a desperate situation but they usually sing a song that goes along with the command first. stuff like the book of park records also requires them to write in it to make whatever they want happen. idk if they have anything that they can get off faster than sukuna simply just waving his hand and dicing them both in half with his ridiculous AP advantage

but i guess it also depends on how serious sukuna's taking the fight because if he just stands there and decides to humor them with whatever it is they wanna do there's nothing stopping the duo from getting the power's BFR off or something else that basically just insta-ends the fight
