I vote to Pokemon Origins Red.
"Commands the three legendary birds, his Mega Charizard X matched and defeated Mewtwo" for Pokemon Origins Red;
"Uses Mewtwo as his primary Pokémon" for Pokemon Adventures Red.
That's all.

It's basically a Mewtwo VS Mewtwo battle, and origins Red barely have experience with battling with Mewtwo. As battling and defeating Mewtwo isn't the same as battling with Mewtwo as your Pokemon

Manga Red however, seems to have a lot more experience with using Mewtwo and his moveset

Voting for Manga Red

To be fair, Mega Charizard X ******* stomped Mewtwo in their fight. So despite Manga Red's Mewtwo probably being better, he's still gonna have trouble against not only another Mewtwo but a Charizard that stomped his ass. I can see Manga Red pulling out a W if he plays his cards right though.

Charizard stomping Mewtwo should be a massive outlier much like how Ash isn't 2-B because his Sceptile defeated Darkrai.

Manga Red is also vastly more experienced than Origins Red. As Origins Red seemingly have no strategy whatsoever, and his movepool for his Pokemon is lacking. Also we barely saw any skill feats from him, unlike Manga Red

How is it an outlier if it's Mega Charizard's Only Feat? Also, his Base Charizard didn't get One-Shot by Mewtwo like Articuno did and it could clash with Moltres as shown in the brief scene between them, so it's not like this is a normal Charizard to begin with.

Because it contradicts literally any mega charizard X showing in the series and every other Mewtwo showing in the series.

That beings Mega Charizard X's only feat only makes it worse, since we have one feat of a charizard matching Mewtwo while plenty of other feats saying otherwisrle. Also Base Charizard survived attacks from Mewtwo before Mega Evolving so either that would mean all final evoloutions downscales from Mewtwo's 5-B attacks or none of them, other than Mewtwo of course, are 5-B.

Or it could just be a really strong Charizard, like Ash's Pikachu in the Anime. It's not like we don't have Profiles for Notable Members of Pokemon Species.

Yes. But Base Charizard has other feats if matching fully evolved Pokemon beforehand, such as against Rhydon in his fight against Giovanni and defeating Blue's Blastoise. Both are 7-A+. Charizard was also much more damaged against Rhydon and Blastoise than against Mewtwo

This is kinda rough. One better Mewtwo vs Mewtwo and a similar power Charizard. Might go with red here.

To be fair, he also went through a lot more fights after those two considering he went around catching all the original 151 Pokemon barring Mewtwo and Mew at that point, so he could've gotten a lot stronger as shown with him Clashing against Moltres. I know Moltres is hella weaker than Mewtwo but it only showed that for like a few seconds and he still performed better than all of Red's other Pokemon against Mewtwo including Articuno. That and Green (not Blue) got Trashed by Mewtwo so badly he wound up needing Medical Attention, so Red clearly got much stronger than him.

Um, Green IS Blue, though Green is the japanese name while Blue is the english name.

Green stated that it wasn't Mewtwo who caused him such injury, but rather his Blastoise getting thrown at him by Mewtwo and crushing Green. Red was also almost knocked out by Mewtwo in almost the same way by having Charizard thrown at him. If Red would've hit the ground rather than falling to the water, he would have been crushed the same way it happened to Green

Also, Red still basically have little skill shown regardless and a sub-par moveset. Also a wild Mewtwo fights very differently than a trained Mewtwo, and since the special ends right after he caught Mewtwo, we can safely say he has no experience using him

My point was it's gonna be difficult regardless considering he has to face two different Planet Level Characters instead of just one. Especially since one of them stomped the other one.

Well, I'm gonna go with Origins Red FRA.
I understand that Charizard's feats against Mewtwo are being called into question rn, but I'm not very knowledgeable, so I'm merely going off of the profile. The profile currently has Charizard being comparable to Mewtwo.
So as things stand, we have Charizard (comparable to Mewtwo) + a weaker Mewtwo vs. A stronger Mewtwo. I think the numerical advantage here should give Origins Red the win.
If I'm wrong about anything, then I do apologize. Again I'm just going off of the profile.

Manga Red has a big skill advantage with a stronger Mewtwo that he actually trained, and Origins Red has little skill with either Mega Charizard X or Mewtwo. Not to mention Charizard starts at his 7-A base and Mewtwo can blitz and one shot him before Red can Mega Evolve him

If Mewtwo would just blitz and delete Charizard than the whole fight at the end of Generations wouldn’t make sense. You seem to be treating both Mewtwos as similar so why is it suddenly an issue now?

Yeah, plus that Base Charizard was contending with the Birds (as shown with Moltres) so he already was quite a bit above your average Charizard to begin with and Mewtwo One-Shot Articuno but not Base Charizard.

If base Charizard survived attacks from Mewtwo yet The Legendary Birds, who are normally immensly above the likes of final form evolutions, were one-shotted by it, it means base Charizard, along with Blastoise, Rhydon and any other final stage Pokemon would scale above the Birds and downscale from Mewtwo's AP, which is absurd

Charizard was comparable to Blastiose and Rhydon in his base. Red's Charizard becoming 5-B in base with one dubious evidence when there are at least two examples that contradict this. Red's Charizard was also KO-ed by Nidoqueen, so 5-B Charizard is a big no
