    I know it isn't that much time but I wanted to give him a chance to transform. It was a better decision than using planck time, a quantum second or instant.

    His matter (atoms) are literally being melted at the subatomic level. He'd need to have subatomic level Regenerationn to come back. Which version of him can do that though?
