10^6 kilograms (1000 metric tons). It is the standard unit for measuring TNT mass yield equivalent on site, most people just leave out the “metric” part. I just like to actually specify what kind of kiloton is being used.
In contrast to imperial/long kilotons which are 1.016 x 10^6 kilograms (1000 long tons, which are 2,240 pounds each) and short kilotons which are 9.07185 x 10^5 kilograms (1000 short tons, which are 2000 pounds each).

The math is kind of weird.

To be fair the re-entry speed is very lowballed for the Vader calc to avoid assumptions about existing momentum.
What was calculated was basically just the straight free-fall of the ship without any outside assumptions about directional velocity or drift (a little bit dubious since they seem to hit the planet straight on instead of looping, which means they were either were conveniently angled straight at the planet or had some existing speed to counteract lateral gravitational forces).
If you are willing to stomach a few assumptions about existing momentum, you could instead ask Hagane to use manned re-entry speeds for IRL manned spacecrafts instead (which I believe is around 7,800m/s for LEO missions) which would bump it up to around Low 7-B.

Do what you can, I have like a week of reading rando stuff ahead of me anyways so no rush. I'm probably gonna scale them to Inquisitors though, since they were trusted to guard the place the Inquisitors were trained at and shit.
Which means wherever the Inquisitors, Ezra, and Kanan go, the Red Royal Guards go too. I don't really feel comfortable scaling them to Mandolorian shit just because they can **** up Jedi though.

Did they physically confront anyone of any relevance?
Because the only thing I remember was 3 of them plus some stormtroopers losing to Ezra. They only put up a minimal fight because of the Force Pike's hax.

Nope, but they are trusted to guard the Inquisitorious headquarters from both outside threats and inside ones, and a couple participated in all of Lords of the Sith, with only one dying to the same Lylak that damaged Vader's armor after putting up a decent fight and the other one surviving the whole thing.
They eat a full force force push with zero issues from Ezra, not having Class M LS is basically the only reason he beat them lol

I honestly don't recall Jedi usually using the Force Push to kill. So I don't consider it a big deal. Although it's good that one of them didn't fall on the floor.

They do use it to harm offensively though, see Obi-Wan making Grievous grunt like a mfer with his force pushes on Kamino

I agreed about Mandalorian equipment scaling to Jedi (I even came up with the idea), but lately I've been wondering if it really makes sense to scale the AP itself.

Deltarune is in the tier but they're insanely skillsloppy
Dagon from Cthulhu Mythos is in the tier, but without GOO physiology he ain't much... and with it he stomps the verse's 7-Bs.

See above. Deltarune skill requires Darksiders levels of BS to deal with. Unless you can apply infinite pressure, there isn't really a way to win against the ones who scale to the fun gang.

I saw the Mandalorian and Grogu movie recently. It’s funny how most people I’ve seen are calling it dogshit or amazing. Personally I think it’s a fun step in the right direction. My favorite part is how they gave Grogu more autonomy. Though I still can’t figure out how old he’s supposed to be comparatively lol.
Edit: I know he’s at least 50 since he’s Anakin’s age. Though, it’s throwing me off because everyone treats him like a baby. I have the headcanon that Yoda’s species ages like 10x slower, and he’s supposed to be equivalent to a 5 year old, because he was already a Jedi Youngling. I doubt Disney put much thought into it though lmao.

If someone told me they didn’t like it, that’s a fair assessment, there are definitely aspects I don’t like as much or dragged on for too long. I think it’s strange to call it horrible though, it’s one of the better recent projects. I’d say I liked it more than the last Mando season from what I remember.
My problem is how people are being super hyperbolic about it, which is probably why the other extreme is that the movie is amazing as pushback. Some people were upset how Disney said Grogu wouldn’t talk, but I think this movie gave him more character development than all three seasons.
I was impressed how they made a green puppet so expressive. Whoever designed the Grogu puppet deserves all the awards, because I saw/heard people reacting emotionally during certain scenes.
As for the tiering, I’m pretty sure both Mando & Grogu get upgraded. Grogu’s force powers are impressive for a kid with limited training.

Edit: Also made me realize how scary the Hutts are physically. They’d be op if they weren’t fat bastards, because on top of being blaster resistant, they’re also resistant to some of the force mental hax. Lmao, if Jabba wasn’t such a ****** he could’ve done a bit better in RotJ.

How do we currently handle scaling on this? Who counts as an upper-mid tier character vs a mid tier?
I don’t think they’re getting upgraded, but I saw discussion over not using them for tiering? Maybe I’m misunderstanding something.
Rotta definitely has enough feats in the movie to have a pfp, never seen a hut with abs in live action before now. Would just need to wait until it’s on D+
Also, extreme opinions have an easier time traveling on the internet, so I don’t take it as what a general audience thinks.

I don't know, I still need to think about it. But at that point Kanan had already defeated GI, dealt well with Maul, and trained with Bendu.

They should always have been 9A anyway. We currently have Finn scaling to Blasters, and he is a former Stormtroopers (There is also probably not a significant difference between an Imperial and First Order Stromtrooper in terms of physicality)

From what I can remember First Order troopers had somewhat better training, and Finn definitely wasn’t the average stormtrooper either way. He was hitting 35 targets with 36 shots, so he was pretty exceptional.
That said, he probably should be 9-A from his movie feats.
