Can’t really comment on the validity of the original calc without seeing it, but even just counting serious engine damage on like a thousand ships would still be likely to get the feat to Tier 7. Like ByAsura comments even AT-TEs can damage the engines of capital ships (I’m guessing based on that one TCW episode where they are used in a trap against munificents), but those blasts are already listed as 8-A, meaning even such a ballpark by just multiplying by ten ships gets it to Tier 7.

Calculation was done incorrectly

Don't we have most of these already. Only thing is missing is 8-A Jedi, but we already have multiple 8-B feats lol. I vaguely remember Momin having an 8-A+ calc. If the sky Island feat gets accepted, it would scale to the highest Jedi right? I think we have several Tier 7 feats on the record rn.For me to be a happy person:

Even more common Star Wars characters have decent hax considering tier 9-8 (not counting Mandalorians because their weaponry is designed to kill Jedi).
Energy Projection, Plasma Manipulation, and Heat Manipulation for any Blaster weapon.
And a "probably status effect" because of the Stun Mode of the blasters.
For those with vibrating weapons, they have vibration manipulation.
Armor like that of the clones has temperature regulators, sealed in a vacuum, and offers some resistance to blasters (although it's like bulletproof vests in real life, so it can still kill you).

Speaking of weapons, for those of you who are older.
Why did most of the older Star Wars (Canon) CRTs seem to focus on technology? Mainly ground/space vehicles and weapons of that type? Considering that basically none of them are used for character scale.

I think it was because the tech calcs are easy and relatively consistent. Also, a lot of them are used for character scale. Blasters & thermal detonators are the basis of some scaling in most pages of non-force users.

But that's the thing, some things that really matter don't have VS Battle calculations.
Like, the 9-A calculation for blasters is still from the Naruto forum, very old.

I was looking at Rex's profile and noticed that it's tied to subsonic speed for the blasters by a calculation that isn't on the verse page. Then I thought: "Wait, I saw a supersonic calculation somewhere."
And it really is there:

There is just so much to do. With the new standards, there are also tons of references and scans to collect and sort and properly attribute to profiles as well. A ton of characters are missing from Legends, as well as many keys, and some of the scaling still holds true despite arguments against it, but it's been so many years that it's hard to find the energy to make new blog posts to reinforce this scaling.
Also, most of the people who were active years ago are adults now and have a lot more IRL responsibilities. I plan to do a big series of revisions for Legends, but realistically, because of IRL time constraints, I imagine at the earliest I wouldn't be able to really get the ball rolling until Late 2026-Early 2027, and by then I believe even more people will have grown disinterested in the verse.
Edit: Now that I look at it, I notice the inactivity being a problem with many verses, including some big ones with many fans, excluding JJK and Dragonball. I think it really does come down to the fact that a lot of people just have a lot going on IRL.

Regarding Legends, it would be difficult, but in terms of canon...
I honestly can do the scan collection work. Like, I quickly collected a bunch of Thrawn scans.

What will draw people into the discussion on the back is when we start talking seriously about scale and so on. I doubt people won't show up when I talk to Luke ESB > Mace Windu.

Technically, the scene where Vader resists the "exploding" planet is missing, although the issue of resistance for Vader is not considered.
But this would probably have to be looked at in a Calc Thread.

Is Comicvine really that good for Star Wars stuff?
Like, seriously, the other day I saw several people on Reddit saying that Luke "ROJ" would lose to a young Dooku, simply because Luke doesn't have that much experience and just became a Jedi...? Besides literally ignoring scans from guides/encyclopedias for no reason, without giving logical justifications.
Meanwhile, besides the guys at Comicvine always making huge threads with scans, they basically don't ignore scans. Even when there are debates about contradictory scans, they actually discuss them, the best interpretations, etc. (to the surprise of many).
Like, I found it incredible how even a Comicvine mod said that personally he ranks him below Kenobi and Vader.
Meanwhile, you'll find most people on Reddit saying that canon Vader still has weaknesses against electricity and that he got weaker after Mustafar.
