Roblox Discussion

How do even fight? You have literally nothing but an aura
Certain auras (some not even very rare ones) give you actual abilities. While they've been used in PvP before, the addition of PvE in the form of the boss is one of the reasons people have been saying that there's actual gameplay now rather than it just being a shitty gambling/battlegrounds hybrid.

I might actually try playing the game now...

Yes. The addition of shared executions pretty much cements players teaming up as an optional but intended gameplay style.

Let me guess, you're gonna throw them at the MC 8-Cs?

Hey! Blud fact. Theres actually a few Johns who can be used in multiple of it's kind vs another party.
This is including but not limited to: John Jailbreak (teams)
John EBG (they work together in survival mode + party feature on the game)
John Pressure (They work together to complete runs also they help each other out in various animations)

I would use Soldats or Sleepwalker Patients on this one but both skill stomp to a hilarious degree.

I have no tier 7 verses i support 😔

I could just throw the auditor at them and hope the funny dura neg goes well but thats pushing it.

Is there any games worth playing these days?

Ever since they removed category search, all I ever see is tycoon/battlegrounds/simulator slop. And also the plethora of high school games that are totally not problematic.

Games that don't require much time investment
  • Base Wars: A classic. It's ************ Base Wars. There's two bases; you make a loadout, kill people, and capture bases to get battle points. The more battlepoints you have, the more fun toys you get to mess around with.
  • Armored Patrol: Tank based combat game. The tanks have locational damage.
    giphy.gif
  • Blast Zone: It's just a more meaty version of Slap Battles. Game has fun tech like boosting crates/bombs with your own melee attacks or using trowels to save yourself from falling off the map.
  • Noobs Vs Zombies: Realish: A game based on the old Noobs Vs Zombies game but like, wayy different. There's still the gimmick of NPC noobs/zombies spawning and fighting each other, but it plays out more like a conventional FPS game. older Noobs vs Zombies might be fun for a game night.
  • Pilgrammed: Linear Terraria-like RPG (have fun replacing your melee weapons every progression tier you jump) that has its own fair share of content. Ranged weapons & magic weapons are probably the most fun way to play the game from my experience.
  • Mutation: Round-based asymmetrical PVP game where one side plays as humans and the other plays as zombies. Zombies are weaker than humans invidually but have infinite lives; humans have crazy loadout customizability. Zombies can select from several different mutations like claws, crawler, scent, and a bunch of others + mix & match them to potentially create entirely new mutations.

Games with high-ish time investments
  • Nylium's Black Magic Unleashed: A recreation of Black Magic by Qaeo with many different features & changes. The keystrokes in that game are pretty fun to use (hard to learn, but they're fun). Most of the fun you're gonna have is with the keystrokes.
  • Voxlblade: A game based around the player being able to create a combination of different blades and hammers, cudgels, knives, magic orbs, and other dumb shit that run off of a "perk" system - where each level of a perk gives you a special bonus like "you have reduced special ability cooldowns" or "landing after a jump creates a damaging shockwave". Don't let the game's name fool you, its main draw is its armor system where EVERY PIECE OF EQUIPMENT IS USEFUL UNTIL ENDGAME. The buni armor you get early on is one of the fastest speed increasing equipment items, the frog armor gives you some of the highest jump boosts in the game, and the dire buni armor gives you some of the fastest swing speed increases in the game. The gameplay loop is essentially just figuring out what builds you can create. You can also, like, wear two sets of armor at once with the infusion system the infused armor will give less raw stats but the perks are the same, which offers crazy build variety.
  • The Flappy Men: This game is like Team Fortress 2 on fentanyl. This game has a fairly high time investment if you're playing in a non-casual server: every class has its own learning curve associated with it and they have a bunch of alternative weapons that heavily change how you play them.

The list is super unpolished and there's probably shit I'm missing (STRIFE! probably). A good chunk of them require other people to play, so those are good for game nights. Voxlblade doesn't require other people to play unless ice caverns is kicking your ass.

Speaking of blast zone, I think he'd be a solid 9-A.
9-Bish, 8-C tops with nuke. IF you really wanna reach you can argue 8-C because of players being able to survive impulse nukes near-point blank, which can launch anvils at high speeds like ~20 meters from their epicenter.

Alright, finally have time for this
  • better discovery: Figured I should start by recommending a game that helps you find other games you may enjoy. Pretty straightforward.
  • Entry Point: Stealth/action FPS where you play as an operative of a criminal organization. Can be played solo or with up to 3 other players. Original story and lore that's unlocked by beating missions with adjustable difficulties for each. There's also Ironman mode, a gauntlet where you play through every mission (except for the ones from gamepasses) in one sitting, and Shadow War, a PvP mode inspired by Rainbow Six Siege.
  • Hours: Single player wave-based hack n slash where you play as characters called Hosts. Each Host looks different and plays different. Unique enemies and bosses. Adjustable difficulties and modifiers. Coolest part of this game are these powers called Tempos which give you many flavors of time manipulation. 1 Host and several Tempos are locked behind a gamepass, but everything else can be unlocked with certain conditions.
  • Journey to the Sun: Platforming adventure where you play as a Vessel on a... journey to the sun. Multiple areas that you can explore and collect upgrades to advance further. A bunch of lore to uncover. Collect coins to buy masks and wings for your Vessel or just complete quests and beat the game to unlock them. Pretty relaxing game unless you're trying to beat the (optional) Tower of Wisdom.
  • Death Crystals: Single player horror game where you play as a guy who's stuck in a maze and have to collect crystals to escape. Of course, there are monsters trying to kill you. Each level has different monsters with different mechanics.
