Tbh. Goombas should scale to mid tiers. As shown in Bowsers minions when they can fight next to and on par with Koopa kids multiple times and is important to the plot to do so.

A better matchup would be Super Mario Adventures Mario who are both the same tier with speed unequalised so that Mario has the speed advantage so he could possibly attack Gumball before Gumball kills him.GreenCyan said:
