This resistance fleet reminds me of the rebellion forces at Endor in the Return of the Jedi novelization.

Want to take bets that the explosion in front of that Star Destroyer in the one scene was a former planet?
sure. ill bet u later tho, cuz idk what explosion ur talking about lmao gonna have to rewatch it hahaha

That trailer was quite something, eh?

That Resistance fleet though...

The Ghost, The Shadow Caster, The Halo, Pelta frigates, Nebulon-B frigates, I think there is even a Lucrehulk(?), Mon Calamari Cruisers, and so many more...

Also, Gial Ackbar's son Aftab Ackbar is most likely in this movie.

So Andy & Anthony on The Star Wars Show pretty much confirmed the Colossus will be in TROS.

I doubt it will play a major role. It'll probably just have a cameo, with a random shot here and there of the Aces Squadron in battle against First Order and/or Sith TIEs (and no dialogue from any of them).

I don't watch Star Wars Resistance, so how powerful is the Colossus?

The Colossus is a space-station/fuel-depot. So she's not actually very powerful in terms of combat capabilities; literally her only weapons are point defence turbolasers. But she is massive, has powerful shielding, and appears to be quite resilient.

That Doctor Aphra Annual 3 was pretty dark in the first half.

Nokk has a pretty sad and dark backstory. And at one point she threatened to castrate a young human boy who was eavesdropping on her.

Oh, I forgot to mention:

The same comic issue also has some very impressive multi-megajoule feats for blaster bolts. There are actually a lot of multi-megajoule feats for handheld blasters in Canon. This is just another on the list.

Maybe we'll actually get to see a superlaser in action this time.

The first episode of The Mandalorian is out. Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni ******* killed it. Solid 100/100 rating. I cannot wait for the next episode!

And that reveal at the end! Holy forking shirtballs, I was absolutely not expecting that. Right out of nowhere! And it's so cute!

Great start to the series, I thought the Directing was a bit Underwelming but this is Dave's debut so it's not a big deal.

Story is great

The Music is fantastic

great set design

CGI is really good

The Mandalorian is BEASY

Solid 8/10

Considering it was his first live action directorial venture, I thought he actually did a very good job.

Are there any feats from the titular Mandalorian, or anyone who scales to them?

IG-11 survives numerous blaster pistol/rifle shots and even a shot from a portable blaster cannon. He's from the same line of IG-series assassin droids as IG-88, so he should scale.

The Mandalorian doesn't really have any notable feats in this episode other than his arm surviving being bitten by a Blurrg and his armour plating being as good as you would expect Beskar to be. But the Mandalorian fights and shit-stomps some Trandoshans in upcoming episodes. Large male Trandoshans can briefly contend with Wookiees, and they have solid 9-B to 9-A feats.

In any case, I have no doubt that The Mandalorian is at least 9-B physically. I can't imagine him being weaker than Hera Syndulla and Sabine Wre. We've also seen Protector Fenn Rau knock out a Mandalorian warrior from Clan Wren (in full Beskar armour) with a single punch. And that armour can outright repel blaster shots.
