Luffy has his revenge, now in HD

I definitely think Luffy holds a serious advantage with Haki since he has Future Sight feats with it while Teach doesn't. Tho the main problem is the powernull and I'm not sure if he's able to prevent getting attracted with his flight.

But I'm leaning towards Luffy. He had a brief exchange with Teach in the past and knows a little about his powers while Teach's almost blind here. Luffy edges with Haki and if he doesn't get touched he'll gain the upper hand quickly either with Snakeman's speed amps or with some heavy hitter punches like King Cobra or King Kong Gun.

Also while Teach could null Luffy's rubber body he can't do the same with his Haki.

Note that Teach has the Gura now. I changed it to follow the profile.

Luffy: 1

Teach: 0

I'll make a CRT for that. Post-Gura Teach managed to hold his own against Sengoku and Garp off-screen so he definitely deserves another key for that.

Edit: It's not like vibrations will do much against reinforced rubber.

Blackbeard's darkness attraction, I feel, would hinder Luffy's ability to dodge effectively as he can draw the rubber man to him, and with a single touch and hold, Luffy's powers would be render nullify.

Meaning, Luffy can go any form he likes, with a single touch and as long as Blackbeard touch him, he can brings him back to his base form, which is 7-A+ and severely harm him during that moment.

Luffy will essentially have to have utilize Python and Future Sight to its fullest to get pass Blackbeard's nullification and hit him hard. For if Luffy throw a punch or kick that Blackbeard can predict or see with his Observation Haki, he can just intercept the punch and all the force and momentum would disappear along with Luffy's Devil Fruit, similar to Whitebeard's situation.

EDIT: Forgot that Luffy is a durable piece of rubber and would be able to withstand some of Blackbeard's attacks in that a nullified state. I would like to still think that Gear 4th would be injured by the Gura Gura no Mi's internal vibration

Problem is that if Teach wants to touch Luffy he needs to get close to him and considering Luffy's likely fast enough to prevent that. His Haki is also good enough to help him on that matter.

At best we can say that Teach's Haki is at Dressrosa Luffy's level and we know how wide the gap between him and the WCI Luffy's Haki is already. Teach will go through hell to get a single clean hit.

On top of that, Teach's fruit makes him more susceptible to pain and with a barrage of attacks he'll suffer a lot.

If Ace can counterattack while mid-air why couldn't Luffy do the same if he's more skilled in mid-air than Ace. Add Haki and Teach will have a rough time to even tag Luffy considering the mobility, speed and precognition advantages.

Even if Teach gets the Gura Gura, the outcome wouldn't be that different. The blunt impact of the quakes wouldn't affect Luffy and with his reinforced Haki it would be even less effective. The internal vibrations may change the things, but Luffy has took internal attacks before and it's capable of fighting back.
