I was told this is a good match for Dimaria, so...

God Soul Dimaria vs Mega Absol (High 7-A)

Does Dimaria start with the time stop? If not, Gengar can just use Hypnosis or Taunt to prevent her from using it, then promptly nukes.
 
As long as she wants, but doesn't always go for the kill right away, so she might deactivate it to play with her opponent
 
Mmm... Gengar has the means to easily take advantage to yeet on her with a variety of hax compared to a sword and some laser beams but due to its mischevious nature, he may wait to do anything serious before the timestop. It may get serious after realizing Dimaria can time stop, but she do what you mentioned above. Since victory relies on who decides to get to the point first, I vote inconclusive.
 
I don't think it's ever been shown what her time stop range is. But that Regenerationn is definitely gonna be a problem for second best FT girl so this might be a stomp
 
Is there any other pokemon who should can have a match with that won't be a stomp
 
Ok, Absol can also use Taunt to nullify time stop (like Gengar) but the question is if it can live long enough to pull it off, then promptly set up or just be strong enough to beat Dimaria.

What feats do we scale these two to? I'm not that familiar with Fairy Tail as a whole and Pokemon feats have changed a lot in the last year and I don't know what fully evolved pokemon scale to anymore.
 
Dimaria scales above a casual 1.2 Gigaton Feat, while I believe Mega Pokemon scale to be 2X a 531 Megaton feat to be 1.06 Gigatons, so Dimaria has a slight AP advantage
 
Yeah, since Absol can easily nuliffy Dimaria's strongest ability and literally just raise its AP by 6x, the Spriggan ain't winning this.
 
6x isn't that good ic an opponent can keep striking you until you die In a time Stop

Besides, I don't think Absol leads with taunt
 
Did you read the first conversation I had with Mitch? While Dimaria leads with time stop, she doesn't immediately go for the kill.

Once Absol realizes what's up likely with a mix of its battle-wired intelligence and overall precog, it easily nullifies Dimaria's best option, leaving her with only some rather basic offensive attacks (lasers and sword skills). While Absol mainly has simple stuff as well, it has a few extra abilites (Fear manip, Me First, Future Sight allowing for a suprise attack, the previously mentioned Swords Dance, and Perish Song if everything else fails) that can do some serious work.
 
It's whether or not Dimaria decides to get serious right away, that's up to Absol, Dimaria will go for the kill immediately if Absol is seen as a threat

Also does have Age Scratch which makes the opponent experience all the pain that they have experience in life all at once

But Crackervolley's vote will still, of course, be counted

Absol not attractive? Pfft, clearly you haven't been around the Internet. Absol's lewded almost as much as Gardevoir.

In all seriousness, Absol's passive fear manipulation might work as a detriment. If it doesn't kill Dimaria, the overwhelming fear is definitely enough for it to find her a threat.

Of course, Absol has Magic Bounce so Dimaria tries to stop time and winds up stopped in time as it's not direct damage.
