Your favorite character sees a robbery taking place

Any character of your choice is walking down the street and sees a random thug on the other side of the road armed with a baseball bat and a handgun robbing and ready to shoot uncle ben (why not?) and have 30 seconds to respond. What do they do?

Saul Goodman/Jimmy McGill (also not on the wiki)

Immediately gives the robber his business card

Spider-Man- stops it cuz he’s a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.

Edit: UNCLE BEN?! Spidey is gonna be pissed at the robber then.

Beerus: I dont think hed realistically do anything since its just a random mortal affair as long as the robber doesnt go up to him or disrespect him in some way.

Perfect cell: Either ignores completely or just kills the robber and messes around with the victim afterwards and calls them pathetic

Sans: Jokes around about the situation and gravity screws the robber.

Bowser: I probably wouldnt put it past bowser to just help a random person in need like that. Just scares them off and badmouths the victim to keep his evil persona probably.

Demi fiend: Probably just beating the holy shit out of the robber and exchanges few words.

Old kratos: Beats the crap out of them and intimidates them into leaving. I doubt hed kill someone so weak outright if the situation didnt escalate enough.

Marisa kirisame: just brooms or master sparks them. Most characters probably would help out tbh

Does Uncle Ben qualify for "Pure of Heart"?
Despite the legacy of the comics, I'd assume the most iconic version of Uncle Ben is this one: https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Benjamin_Parker_(Earth-96283)

  • When Peter's parents died, adopted Peter. I'm unsure if this was Ben or May's initiative, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was Ben's.
  • When Peter was a teenager, Ben was fired/laid off from his job as senior/chief electrician after 35 years. He somewhat jokingly describes this state of employment to Aunt May as being "on his[Ben himself's] ass".
  • Doesn't seem to have given into many temptations, such as smoking or alcohol.
  • When seeing a criminal fleeing a building, Ben tried to reason with him, to show the criminal the error in said criminal's ways.
  • Seems to have maintained strong moral/spiritual beliefs for a long time, even as he died, which is some testament to his strength of character & confidence in his ideals.
  • Seemed to seek the moral embetterment of Peter. Quote the Marvel Wiki. "He raised him as his own son trying hard to enlist values in the youth.". Depends on what values, presuming there are any other than "With Great Power comes Great Responsibility." However, this lead to Peter lashing out at Ben, telling him to stop acting like he's his [Peter's] father; Ben may be guilty of attempting to project an identity of his own son onto Peter, whatever level of impurity/sin that may be.
Going by what I have analyzed, Uncle Ben seems qualified in an almost saccharinely "pure" way.

As Ben tries to stop the robber (Was it a physical attempt before it was retconned?), or as the trilogy's retcon suggests, with reasoning, the robber attacks. Mew shows itself (Or not? It doesn't need to be seen for this.) & uses telekinesis to prevent the bullets harming Uncle Ben.

Disarm the robber, or trip him as he tries to run away so the robber can be apprehended, & maybe give a sign of its presence/involvement to Uncle Ben... who is probably either confused or thinks it was an act of God. (Maybe Ben &/or the robber come to the conclusion that the gun wasn't loaded, or misfired or something?)

With an old man left to contemplate perhaps the most puzzingly supernatural event of the twilight years of his life, leave without a trace.

....& then, if it turns out that the Sam Raimi trilogy uses an Absolute Point system, too, Uncle Ben, shortly after this, dies in a DIFFERENT way to motivate Peter Parker.

Sasaki Kojiro (RoR): Probably walks over and politely asks him to put the weapon away and nonlethally takes him down if he refuses.

Karna (Fate): Similar thing

Korosensei: Dismantles the gun, styles the robber's hair, gives him a self-written self-help book, and trims his nails at superspeed

Kaa (The Jungle Book novel): Doesn't care, probably. If anything, just scares the robber away.

Claire Stanfield / Vino (Baccano): Probably styles on the guy and possibly kills him

Ikki Kurogane (Chivalry of a Failed Knight): See Kojiro's entry

Stella Vermillion (Chivalry of a Failed Knight): See Kojiro's entry

Miyamoto Musashi (Fate): Challenges the robber to a duel but never takes the situation seriously

Sasaki Kojiro (Fate): Same as Musashi

Dick Grayson / Nightwing (Batman): Just offhandedly takes the robber down

Ritsuka Fujimaru / Gudao (Fate): Talks the robber down compassionately

Mob (Mob Psycho): Uses his powers to take apart the gun and toss the robber into a police van

Ryn (The One Who Eats Monsters): Beats up the robber and berates the bystanders for being scared. If he's a really shitty person, probably eats him later.
