When should creator entities gain all of their creations' abilities?

@Antvasima I asked DT about ImmortalDread's draft on his wall, and he had this to say about it:
Just at a glance: I think for the #2 acceptable case there should be a requirement that the character has shown to make use of said characters in some way. If you have as little ability to control what the people in you do as I have the ability to tell my cells what to do, then you can't actually wield their abilities. Or maybe clarify what being the embodiment of all existence means vs. being omnipresent.

Acceptable case #3 needs a specification of what "direct source" means. E.g. being the source of all mana doesn't mean you know every spell that can be accomplished by manipulating it. Just as being the sole producer of concrete wouldn't mean you would know every building that can be build.

In general, it should for clarity probably be noted that the acceptable cases only apply if it they intersect with the non-acceptable ones, like in the embodiment vs omnipresence thing.

What the unacceptable plot case is concerned: I think one should note that they probably can still accomplish the use of the powers in their fiction by writing them.
May I edit Dread's page accordingly?

I think that seems fine, yes, but you need to provide a link here that shows your changes afterwards.

@Antvasima DT approved the draft on his wall, so I made the page. This thread can be closed.
