Ok I can see that being the case for the fungus monsters…not so much with the werewolves. I don’t recall werewolves starting off as corpses or lacking a conscious in any depiction I remember seeing, even though the rest of the description seems to still be applicable to them. Unless this kind of “werewolf” is different in some way.

You know that in Resident Evil there are different types of viruses, right? Well, in RE8 one type of virus make zombies that have traits similar to that of werewolfs, they are still zombies, just that a special type.
