Well, it's finally happening, after the downgrade of the DCEU to High 7-A, this match is now possible. The final boss of the MCU vs the final boss of the DCEU.

Standard Battle Assumptions

Speed equalized.

Base Thanos scales to 5 Gigatons (He also gets his Double-Bladed Sword, no IG) and Darkseid upscales from 1.79 Gigatons (He gets his Staff, no Anti-Life Equation)

I'd say Thanos should take this.

He's a much more skilled opponent from what we've seen. He's stronger. Has better AP. Better Stamina as he could continuously fight through hordes of heroes and not long before IW waged war against a planet. And probably better LS. His sword can likely deflect Darkseid's beams as well, and he is shown being able to throw his sword, meaning he has a fair bit of range. And could call his weapon back to him if he ever loses it.

Out of curiosity, what can Darkseid even do here? He doesn’t have the AP, skill, experience etc so doesn’t Thanos just box his head in and call it a day? Can’t even argue Omega Beams when stronger attacks like Thor’s lightning doesn’t actually harm Thanos. Fairly certain this is a stomp.

Well, it's obvious Thanos will win. He has more feats than Darkseid. (Darkseid only has statements from other characters and that flashback to when he first invaded Earth.) So this fight might come back if there's anything new that is relevant for Darkseid's profile.

I thought maybe Darkseid's Mind Control or Boom Tubes would give him some win cons.

Never really seen Boom Tubes used in combat and I am pretty sure the mind hax comes from Anti-Life ........ which is restricted. And if he has that, it seems in character for him to start with it since he never even bothers fighting Supes, just hits him with the ALE from what we are shown.
