the fusion stat equal tournament: Mega Leafy vs Mashobelix Burnedead

So physical attacks appear to be useless on Mashobelix due to inheriting that trait from Obelix, but thankfully many Mega Leafy’s attacks aren’t physical, but rather long ranged energy or element based.

What does Mash/Obelix lead with?

So it appears that Mashobelix inherits Mash’s trait of not using their full potential which is already a pretty bad idea since Mega Leafy has higher versatility and range, and would be able to try to exploit many weaknesses through their 90+ weapons in order to eventually spam that move to win.

Mash will definitely resist Gravity Hold, but nothing really stops Mega Leafy from just opening up a Black Hole Bomb to suck him in, using Flash Stopper to temporarily stun Mash so Mega Leafy can get some shots on him, freeze him with various ice weapons, temporarily petrify him with Concrete Shot, setcetera.

Plus, thanks to inheriting Leafy’s thin body and acrobatic skills combined with Mega Man’s Time Gear system and dodging skills, hitting Mega Leafy would be very difficult since they can just turn to their side to the thin part which makes hitting them with small projectiles difficult, especially since Leafy has dodged a series of danmaku-like projectiles on two occasions and Mega Man is used to finding strategies to dodge attacks.

I mean, the full potential bit isnt really a problem, he's just mentally holding back because of spoilers for the next chapter of Mashle

But that doesn't really stop him from styling on his opponent, beating in their head with a tennis racket, punting them around a room multiple times, etc. So yeah, it's just limiting him from his "potential".

Mash can also take pain extremely well. I mean, he got impaled through the back by a trident, and snapped it in half while he was impaled. So that would probably apply to the fusion.

Mega Leafy would just keep their distance away from them and rangespam in the case they spam physical attacks. Not to mention how they have some weapons capable of affecting the entire screen through AoE.

Fair enough.

In that case, I’ll vote Mega Leafy for the time being through versatility (Especially with most of their attacks not being physical nor magic based, but rather energy and other elements), range, acrobatics, and strategic mindset.

So after seeing some Mash threads, I see that he has the tendency to be able to adapt to his opponent’s attacks. But how fast and reliable is the adaptation? Would it even make him survive Mega Man’s AoE attacks?

Well, in terms of how fast, usually after seeing an attack once, really. At least, from what I remember and looking over Mash's profiles. Also could you pretty please vote on a certain Mash thread I've been bumping for a bit?

Edit: in terms of getting hit by a continuous attack, like Lance's gravity, around a few seconds

All this can be avoided without difficulty by Mash. He has fought opponents who can use a danmaku of 1000 projectiles, was able to perfectly reflect and calculate the position of every move within a scenario, understand how the opponent's attack mechanics work after seeing the magic a few times, read the enemy's movements perfectly in a few moments to the point of dodging FTE attacks that later become twice as fast as before at close range, etc. Nothing here is problem and can be avoided without difficulty thanks to the insane agility that Mash shows throughout the series, being for example capable to dodge attacks from an experienced swordsman while having his movements all limited

Okay, no. What is the skill level? Because well
Among other feats
turn to their side to the thin part which makes hitting them with small projectiles difficult
Shockwave creation makes it useless

AAlso, we are forgetting about amplifiers. Mash is able to punch over 60000 times in an instant and can run faster than the reaction of comparable enemies using the Big Bang Dash

well,if mash was showed that he can deal with the massive aoe damage that can hit him any time then i will think again
