I would say Batman would stomp Light considering Batman is immensely smarter than Light and L put together, but then again I feel like finding out who Batman is should be easier than finding out who L is. I don't think any human on Earth ever knew what L's real name was, except for L himself probably, but then we have Bruce Wayne who is famous.
Light for sure is smarter than me and most people irl, so it seems possible, imo, that he could deduce that Batman could be Bruce since Batman would have to be:
1. Someone who lives in gotham city, since that's where he mainly operates. (Bruce publicly lives in gotham)
2. Someone who has lots of resources and money to be able to afford the gadgets and such he has. (Everyone knows Bruce is rich)
3. Someone who is also in top shape and probably in the prime of their life. (Bruce at least looks like has the build of someone who could be batman)

Overall I think it comes down to whoever catches who first, since I don't think the chase will be long. Maybe Batman has some edgy comic book machine gadget thing that helps him but I'm too lazy to look into it. This is just my thoughts on what I know about most Batmans.

• Is untraceable, impossible to identify, and has thought of everything in order to protect himself according to the DEO (Batwoman #19)
• Deathstroke scanning Batman gives back useless data. He couldn't figure out his exact height, weight, etc (Deathstroke (2016) #4)
• Has so many back up that he convinced Deathstroke that Bruce Wayne cannot be Batman (Deathstroke (2016) #32)
• Riddler who's been fighting Batman for 10 years still incorrectly deduces Batman as Ex-military (Batman (2011) #31)
• The DEO has been trying and failing to identify who Batman is for years (Batwoman (2011) #1)
• Has wears masks under his mask to disguise himself
• Is so prepared that if you hack into Wayntech nightvision goggles, it makes it look like Batman and Bruce Wayne were present at the same time
• Bruce regularly trolls on the internet to make the idea that Batman was Bruce Wayne into a crackpot conspiracy and it more or less has successfully worked

Batman isn't prepared here, he's stupidly prepared. The only people who has correctly guessed his identity without Bruce showing himself before hand can basically be counted on two hands and the people who did so with just their unamped intelligence is even smaller.

Yeah I see what you mean, I was gonna mention that smarter people than Light have tried and failed but I thought it would be boring to stop there. I just went at it without the comic book prep feats and simply tackled it with common batman knowledge. Regardless, I personally think Batman finds Light first anyway since he's that smart.
