The 15 greatest combat intelligence feats in Naruto

Itachi creating a big multi-step plan that involves making Sasuke fight him, getting pressured just enough to still believe it was a real fight, but also not get seriously hurt or killed, then getting pressured so that he'd rely on Orochimaru's power and release him, so that Itachi would seal him away and rid Sasuke of him, then manipulate Sasuke into awakening the Mangekyō through his death, and then awakening the EMS thanks to his eyes. He did all that while he had a failsafe in place to deal with "Madara's" interference through an implanted Amaterasu booby trap, and a plan to use Kotoamatsukami on Sasuke in case he went rogue through Naruto.

He put all that together while dying of a terminal illness, and covering his tracks from both the Akatsuki, Konoha, and Sasuke; all while giving an Oscar worthy performance to boot!

He also quickly figured out how to counter the Rinnegan against Nagato, something that Naruto couldn't pull even with prior knowledge. And he figured out how to stop the seemingly flawless Edo Tensei, almost singlehandedly ending the war.
bro is really batman he really planned sasukes life and STILL had 2 failsafes

Naruto defeating Kakuzu also counts, he analyzed his fighting style and mixed himself with Shadow clones to nail him and he would have got him had the Rasenshuriken not fizzled out on him.

He then did it again the second time but he tricked Kakuzu with another clone using the Rasenshuriken so the real one could actually nail him when Kakuzu attacked the clone.

I think some of the Shikamaru strats and the Naraka path one should definitely be there. I'd also put Minato vs Obito higher. That was an incredibly big brain move for far more than just the surface level reasons. Not only did he nearly instantly figure out how Kamui worked whereas Kakashi Naruto Sakura Kiba Shino and Hinata couldn't in a whole battle, but he then realized Obito knew his own weakness about being vulnerable when he attacks, so Minato intentionally slowed down his Rasengan to let Obito think he had the upperhand and remain solid, then used a creative application of his technique to catch Obito offguard by throwing his kunai and pretending like he meant the kunai to stay inside his head while Obito attacked or just that it would hit, and in the same moment had the foresight to plant a marking on Obito's back.
It's funny because there are almost none really big brain moments in Naruto. It's simple strategies, but effective.
Uh...I wouldn't say that.
