Thanos literally fired a Full Infinity Gauntlet blast at Thir when he was about to kill him and stop his life long dream of wiping all of all life in the universe.

That 100% sounds like he was holding back, totally.

Yeah just watched the movie. I don't think thanos was holding back, or if he was I don't see why. Though he does have all the infinity stone abilities so it could be possible to create a time look to trick death. Death can be tricked and he has been multiple times in Folklore. Though I'm not saying this is inconclusive I'm just saying it is up in the air.

Tbh leaning towards death due to likely being able to kill thanos with a touch.

Cause, at the beginning of the film, he ****** over Thor like nothing. So, when he went against Thor once again, he never expected Thor to have become so powerful in such a short amount of time.

That's why. He got cocky, and he got ****** over from it. It's a Thanos flaw that we've seen OVER AND OVER again. Hell, he got pushed back by Scarlet Witch. And she's infinitely weaker than Stormbreaker Thor. Yet, we all know that he could still overpower her. Again, it's cockiness, and underestimating the situation.

Hell, he even got beat down by Iron man, and that guy isn't even that strong. And yet, we've seen Thanos still **** Tony over like it was nothing. So...yeah. Thanos could easily beat them all. He just has a ton of arrogence problems.

Also, in the Comics, he usually wanted to lose throughout most of his fights. And yes, ik that MCU Thanos isn't Comic Thanos. But, still...

MCU Thanos may have had some things given to him from his Comic counterpart.

The Soul stone affects anything that has a Soul. Life and Death are included. So, that'll mean Death itself has a Soul. And if Death itself has a Soul, then Thanos could just rip it out of him...

Tbf now, anything dead shouldn't really have a Soul. That is, unless you're a ghoul, or something like that. However, it still affects anything having to do with Death. Meaning, Death itself...so...
